I hope this e-mail finds you well. In your last e-mail, you asked me about the Double Ninth Festival. The Double Ninth Festival is on lunar September 9th. People in China usually climb mountains or go to a high place to celebrate this festival. What’s more, family members will get together to have a big meal on that day.

This year, our family climbed the Baiyun Mountain on the Double Ninth Festival with our grandparents. We had some tea at the top of the mountain and enjoyed the view of the city. Then we returned to our grandparents’ home and my mother cooked a big meal for everybody. My grandparents said they had a very nice day.
