If native speakers want to make themselves understood easily, they will need to learn how to speak global English.
Recently a study shows that native English may be the most difficult English to understand in the world. A Finnish(芬蘭的)businessman said,"The British are the worst ... It is much more difficult to understand their English than that of other countries. When we non-native speakers of English talk, it is much easier to understand. We have the same limited(有限的)vocabulary."
So what should native English-speakers do to make themselves better understood? First, slow down, but it's no need to slow down to let others think you are indulging(遷就)them. Second, avoid using expressions like these: that's the way the cookie crumbles(弄碎)(We can't avoid something) ,people in glass houses (Someone is in trouble or danger) ,and so on.
Native speakers of English should learn someone else's language. Learning other languages can make you have some ideas of what problems non-native speakers have when communicating with you. At the same time, always remember that the greatest friend of the non-native speaker is to repeat while talking with them.
