A life coach is somebody who helps you reach all kinds of personal and professional goals(目標(biāo)). Each of us has the ability to be our own life coach. Here is some advice about how to be your own life coach:

Pay attention to your relationships with others. Ask yourself the following questions: How do you deal with disagreements? When was the last time you showed your family members that you care for them? Your relationships with friends, family members and teachers show a lot about the kind of person you are.

Face the fears about the future. Now, imagine that one of your good friends told you that he or she was not strong enough to go back to school. We often give better advice than we are willing to take ourselves. Remember that even the most successful people were probably told that what they wanted to do was impossible. 82.

Develop your talents. 83. If you want to achieve your goals, you will have to spend more time developing the talents you already have. And you should also uncover (發(fā)現(xiàn))any hidden talents that you haven’t discovered yet. So you can take classes in subjects that you are interested in, even if you have no experience.

Be thankful. Take some time to be thankful for the things you do have. Remember positive (積極的) things. Think of the best days you have had in the past month or year. Remember special parties, vacations and holidays. Thank for the wonderful people you have in your life.

Your relationships with friends, family members and teachers show a lot about the kind of person you are.(你和朋友、家人和老師之間的關(guān)系顯示出你是什么樣的人。) Because your relationships with friends, family members and teachers show a lot about the kind of person you are.

Remember that even the most successful people were probably told that what they wanted to do was impossible.(記住,即使是最成功的人也可能被告知他們想要做的事情是不可能的。) Keep (on) doing sth.:堅持做某事;give up:放棄;結(jié)合句意可知填But they kept (on) working hard/ trying and never gave up/ didn’t give up.

短語want to achieve your goals:想實現(xiàn)你的目標(biāo) ; have to :需要,不得不;spend more time developing the talents:需要花費更多的時間來發(fā)展才能;you already have是定語從句,先行詞是talents,先行詞是物,引導(dǎo)詞用thatwhich,引導(dǎo)詞在定語從句中作have的賓語,省略了。

Think of the best days you have had in the past month or year. Thank for the wonderful people you have in your life.(想想過去一個月或一年中最好的日子。 We should learn to be thankful./ Be thankful.

Some advice about how to be your own life coach./ How to be your own life coach.

Recently, a cartoon created by students from China Central Academy of Fine Arts put this group of people under the spotlight(聚光燈). But that’s not all. Being a phubber could also damage your social skills and drive you away from your friends and family. At reunions(團聚)with family or friends, many people tend to stare at their telephones while others are chatting happily with each other and this creates a strange atmosphere, Qilu Evening News reported.
