Soto gave a report about fitness apps. The fitness apps attract users with training on almost any type of exercise, from cardio (有氧運(yùn)動) to muscle (肌肉) development. The following are the results.

In Soto’s report on fitness apps, it said that although 37.2 percent of people chose gyms to exercise, 28.9 percent stayed at home on smoggy days. The apps enable users to exercise with guidance whenever and wherever they want, even in the office during a lunch break.

“Most apps focus on footstep counting or running.” Soto’s report noted, “By the end of 2018, fitness sports will see over 100 million people. With their exercise habits changing, the apps need to develop many courses for different age groups and sport choices to keep up with users.”

Fitness apps help save time and space for users, and make it possible to exercise during their very limited (受限制的) free time,” the report said. “ It also provides online communities to meet the users social needs. By providing a platform (平臺) to share pictures ad experience, it has made exercise much more fun, and that is why it’s becoming so popular.”
