However, some believe that taking a selfie is causing people to take risks that something causing people to take risks that something cause death!

Though the problem of taking selfies has been known for a while, it became worse and had to be dealt with on September 21st following the death of Frank, who was trying to take a selfie with his friends when they fell off some stairs. His friend only broke his leg while Frank died from the accident. It was reported that three Indian students were run over(碾壓) by a passing train while they were taking a selfie on the railway tracks.

More and more selfie-connected accidents are forcing some governments to deal with the problem. In July, the Russian Interior Ministry began a program which didn't allow visitors to use the selfie stick(自拍桿). Many museums and theme parks haven't allowed visitors to use the selfie stick, either.

【題目】 It was Sunday. I had one last patient to see. She was an old woman, sitting on her bed, trying to put socks on her swollen(腫脹的)feet. I walked in, spoke quickly to the nurse, and saw from her chart that she was in a good condition.

She asked if I could help put on her socks. Instead, I started a monologue(長(zhǎng)篇大論):"How are you feeling? Your sugars and blood pressure are also good today. The nurse said you're anxious to see your son who's visiting you today from far away. I believe you really look forward to seeing him."

She stopped me with a serious voice. "Sit down, doctor. This is my story, not your story."

I was surprised and embarrassed. I sat down. I helped her with the socks. She told me that her only son lived around the corner from her, but she had not seen him for five years. She believed that the big stress of this was a big reason for her health problems. After hearing her story and putting on her socks, I asked if there was anything else I could do. She shook her head and smiled. All she had wanted me to do was listen.
