When you travel(旅游) in Hong Kong, you must be careful of the traffic(交通) rules, because the traffic keeps to the left and it’s different from that of the interior(內(nèi)地) of China. Before crossing the street, you must look to the right and then to the left. If the traffic lights are red, the traffic must stop, people can go across the zebra line.(斑馬線) If the traffic lights turn green , the traffic can go, and people mustn’t cross the road.
In the morning and in the evening, when people go to or come from work, the streets are very busy. The traffic is the most dangerous.
When you go somewhere by bus in Hong Kong, you have to be careful, too. Always remember the traffic keeps to the left. Have a look first, or you may go the wrong way. “If you want to see a thing well, reach out and touch it!”
That may seem a strange thing to say. But touching things can help you to see them better. Your eyes can tell you that a glass ball is round. But by holding it in your hands, you can feel how smooth and cool the ball is. You can tell how heavy the glass it. When you feel all these about the ball, you really see it.
With your skin, you can feel better. For example, your fingers can tell the difference between two coins in your pockets. You can feel a little drop of water on the back of your hand, too. You can even feel sounds against your skin. Have you wanted to know why some people like very loud music? They must like to feel the sounds of music.
All children soon learn what “Don’t touch!” means. They hear it often. Yet most of us keep on touching things as we grow up. In shops, we touch things we might buy: food, clothes. To see something well, we have to touch it.
The bottom of our feet can feel things, too. You know this when you walk on warm sand, cool grass or a hard floor. All feel different under your feet.
There are ways of learning to see well by feeling. One way is to close your eyes and try to feel everything that is touching your skin. Feel the shoes on your feet, the clothes on your body, the air on your skin. At first, it is not easy to feel these things. You are too used to them.
Most museums are just for looking. But today some museums have things for visitors to touch. Their signs say, “Do touch!” there you can feel everything on show.

Happiness is for everyone. You don't need to care about the rich. Though they have beautiful houses with large gardens and swimming pools, they may often feel lonely.
In fact, happiness is always around you if you put your heart into it. When you are in trouble at school, your teachers will help you; when you do something wrong, people around you feel unhappy; when you succeed in something, your friends will say congratulations to you. All these are your happiness. If you notice a bit of them, you can see that happiness is always around you.
Happiness is not the same as money. It is a feeling(感覺) of your heart. Although you are poor, you can also say you are very happy. Money is not everything. Cars are lots of fun, but they could also be dangerous. We have to be careful when we drive them or ride in them.
It's always a good idea to put on your seat belt when you're in a car. Why? Think about this example: You put an egg on a skateboard and give it a push. If the skateboard hits a stone, it will stop, but the egg won't. It will fly through the air, hit the ground and break.
Now, think what would happen if you tied the egg to the skateboard. When the skateboard hits a stone, the egg won't go flying; it will stay safely on the skateboard.
Volvo, a famous Swedish carmaker, was the first to use seat belts in 1849.
Air bags are also very important for car safety, because sometimes a seat belt isn't enough. If the car is going really fast and runs into something, seat belts could even hurt the people who wear them. Most new cars have air bags in front of and next to the seats. When a car hits something, its air bags will come out quickly in less than one second to keep the people inside safe.

A.they are made of plastic
B.they can also help us to keep safe in a car
