1Does enjoy

2didn't it

3What create

4are hung

5If don't

6whether had

7They have not found the way to deal with the problem

分析原句,要求改為被動(dòng)語態(tài),即主語是動(dòng)作的承受者,原句時(shí)態(tài)是一般現(xiàn)在時(shí),故這里需要一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)的被動(dòng)語態(tài),結(jié)構(gòu)是am/is/are done,主語是復(fù)數(shù),故答案是are hung。

分析原句,要求保持句意基本不變,這里unless意思相當(dāng)于if…not,除非,如果不,時(shí)態(tài)是一般現(xiàn)在時(shí),含有實(shí)意動(dòng)詞clean,借助助動(dòng)詞don't,后接動(dòng)詞原形,故答案是If don't。

這是一個(gè)現(xiàn)在完成時(shí)的句子,主語是they,謂語是 have not found,賓語是the way to deal with the problem,動(dòng)詞不定式作定語。 They have not found the way to deal with the problem。

In Britain, the ancient tradition of open-air performances is still alive and well. Cornwall has some of Britain’s oldest working theatres, with one open-air theatre actually built into a cliff(懸崖), a project only recently completed.

Two actors, Dave James and Muriel Thomas, came from London theatres to join a theatre company called Coastline. They now regularly perform in just such a theatre, by the sea. ‘One thing about performing outside is we never know what’ll happen. For example, if a bird bands on stage, we can’t act as if it’s not there – the audience are all watching it. So we just bring the bird into the play, too. Once, about 30 dolphins came past, jumping out of the water and showing off. The audience were all chatting about them instead of watching the play, so the actor just gave up for a while and watched the dolphins, too.’

The weather can also be difficult. ‘Sometimes it’s been so bad,’ says Muriel, ‘that we’ve asked the audience if they really want to stay. But usually they sit with their coats and umbrellas and say, “Yes, please carry on!” They must feel it isn’t much fun, but no one’s returned their tickets so far!’

Coastline’s director, John Barnack, works hard to introduce people to theatre. ‘Many people think of theatres as clubs where they don’t belong and are not welcome, ’he explains. ‘Sitting in the open air changes that feeling. The audience are far more involved – they aren’t sitting in the dark, at distance like in normal theatres, and that improves the actors’ performances, too. I’m very proud of the work they’ve done so far.’

1In Britain, the tradition of open-air performances is dying, isn’t it?

3What did actors do when the play was disturbed by 30 dolphins?

5What might make the outdoor performances difficult?
