Wind power is a very clean source of energy. This is how wind power works. Wind makes windmills spin (旋轉(zhuǎn)).When the windmills spin, they make electricity. Then we can use the electricity.
A lot of people think that wind power is new, but that's not true. For thousands of years, people have used wind to sail boats and move water. We still do those things today, but these days we mostly use wind power to make electricity.
Wind power is a very popular source of energy. Most people think that we should use it more and more. First of all, it's clean. Windmills don't pollute the environment at all. Second, we can use wind power forever. After all, we will always have wind. Also, wind power is cheap, and it's getting even cheaper.
A lot of people don't understand wind power very well. They believe that there are problems with wind power, but many of those problems are not real. For example, some people say that windmills are dangerous for birds. They used to be true, but it isn't true anymore. Old windmills killed birds because they spun very fast. New windmills spin slowly, and they aren't dangerous for birds.
However, there are real problems with windmills. One problem is that many people think windmills are very ugly. This is a problem for people, because windmills are often in very pretty areas. Also, wind doesn't blow all the time, so we can't use wind power all the time. Finally, windmills are noisy.
Wind power is becoming more and more common. Right now, more than 80 countries use wind power. About 2.5 percent of the world's power comes from the wind. For some countries, that number is a lot higher. Wind power gives Denmark more than 25 percent of its electricity.

When you imagine a new way of doing something and then find a way to do it, you are being creative. Generally, there are three steps to being creative. They are:
Step 1 Gaining knowledge and skills of how things are done
A solid knowledge and skills help you understand how to do something. Knowing when and how to apply this knowledge comes from studying how others have done things in the same situations. Think about learning to play the piano. In this step you learn how to read music and_______ the keys are on the piano. You also practise playing.
Step 2 Learning to_______ the way that people do those things
Practising how others do something will bring what you have learned and the practice of it together. Repeating other people’s skills will create a lot of _________ and increase understanding. So your next step in playing the piano would be seeing how other good musicians play, and repeating their songs and styles of playing.
Step 3 Exploring new and maybe better ways of doing them
Knowing the rules, but then using or breaking them in your_______ style is the basis of creativity. At this point in playing the piano, you might play songs in new ways; or even write songs and melodies (曲調(diào)). Being able to explore and improve on ideas requires time and effort to find out different ways of doing something.
Being creative is the useful ability to help solve problems effectively in many different situations. Being creative will often result in lots of ideas,_______ not all of them will be good ideas. That is why being creative is a process of trying - and trying again! Being able to come up with new ideas, and then_______ the better ideas, will make your life more successful. Large gatherings such as weddings and meetings can be socially flooded with people. Learning people's names only adds to the stress. A new facial-recognition app could come to the rescue, but experts suggest people should be careful while using it.
The app, called SocialRecall, connects names with faces through smartphone cameras and facial recognition (識(shí)別), avoiding the need for formal introductions. "It breaks down these social barriers we all have when meeting somebody," says Barry Sandrew, who created the app and tested it at an event attended by about 1,000 people.
After receiving an invitation to download SocialRecall from an event organizer, the user is asked to take two selfies and sign in through social media. At the event, the app is active within a previously set geographical area. When a user points his or her phone camera at an attendee's face, the app identifies (識(shí)別) the person, displays the person's name, and links to his or her social media information. To protect Privacy (隱私), it recognizes only those who have agreed to use. And the app's creators say it automatically removes users' data after an event.
Ann Cavoukian, an expert who runs the Privacy by Design Center of Excellence praises the app's creators for these protective measures. She added, however, that when people choose to share their personal information with the app, they should know that "there may be unexpected results down the road with that information being used in another situation that might come back to bite you."
The start-up project has developed the app for people who suffer from prosopagnosia, or "face blindness," a condition that prevents people from recognizing people they have met. To use this app, a person first receives an image of someone's face, from either the smartphone's camera or a photograph, and then tags it with a name. When the camera spots or recognizes that same face in real life, the previously entered information is displayed. The collected data are stored only on a user's phone, according to the team behind the app.

A.giving names to the photos kept in their smartphones
B.collecting information previously entered in the phone
C.providing the information of a person when they first meet
D.showing the person's information when it spots a stored face
4.What can we learn about SocialRecall from the passage?
A.It may put people's personal information at risk.
