Of course you do not want to spend your vacation sick (生病的) in bed. So what can you do to stay in good health when traveling? There are some things you should remember when you travel: relax, sleep and eat well.
A vacation should be a time for relaxing but very often it is not. Think about what you do when you are traveling. There are so many places to visit: museums, shops, parks ... You may spend most days walking around these places. This can be very tiring. Do not ask your body to do too much. A tired body means a weak (虛弱的) body. And a weak body gets sick easily. So sit down for a few hours in a nice and quiet place.
Sleep is also important. If you want to stay healthy you need to get enough sleep.Your hotel room may be noisy or the bed may be uncomfortable. You may not get enough sleep for other reasons. You may want to stay out late at night. Then you should plan to sleep for an hour during the day. That extra (額外的) hour can make a big difference.
At last, if you want to stay healthy, you must eat well. That means eating the right kinds of food. Your body needs fresh fruit and vegetables, and some meat, milk or cheese (奶酪).
So, remember this: if you want to enjoy your vacation, take good care of yourself. Give your body some rest (休息). Get enough sleep and eat good, healthy food.

As kids, we learn how to write, maybe play a musical instrument and draw. So why don’t we learn to code(編碼) computer programs too? What coding has in common with writing, playing music and creating art is that it lets you bring your ideas to life. Coding is all about creativity and that’s why I love it.
Creating with code
CoderDojo helps young people around the world to learn computer programming for free. When I went to my first CoderDojo class in Dublin City University in Ireland, at age nine, I didn’t know anything about coding or even such a thing. It was a great feeling that I think every young person should experience!
By going to CoderDojo every week, I learned how to make websites, apps and games. One of my apps is called Auto-Journalist. It can help journalists(記者) and interviewees do interviews even if they are both really busy or live in different time zones. It is still in development, and it first appeared at an event called Coolest Projects Awards, where young people get to show the public what they have created with code. It’s so much fun to share one’s creations, and to see what everyone else has made too.
Learning environment
For the past three years I have also been helping to teach other young people at CoderDojo DCU. In recent years I have also noticed many more girls attending CoderDojo DCU to try out coding. This has a lot to do with the CoderDojo girls’ classes—girls and young women take part in it with their friends, and it doesn’t feel like coding is a “boy thing”. It is really wonderful to see this, because we need more girls and women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). It’s a good way to learn more about technology.
Start early
One of the main things I have learned in the last few years is that coding is not only for adults, coding is for young people, too. And when you are a child, it is a great time to start coding, because your imagination is the limit(限制) for what you can create!
Want to learn more? Find out if there is a CoderDojo near you at www.coderdojo.com or set one up yourself! Also check out Code.org which has lots of fun drag-and-drop coding games.

A study shows that one million lives might be saved each year if people wash their hands with soap(肥皂) often. It also says that hand-washing with soap could be among the best ways to reduce diseases. Doctors say many diseases can be prevented from spreading by hand-washing. These include the common cold, influenza(流行感冒), hepatitis(肝炎), infectious diarrhea(腹瀉) and so on.
Doctors say you are easy to catch a cold by touching your nose or eyes after someone nearby has sneezed or coughed. Another reason to catch a disease is to eat food prepared by someone whose hands were not clean.
They also say that hand-washing is especially important before and after preparing food, before eating and after using the toilet, after touching money and sneezing or coughing. The most helpful way is to wash them together while using soap and warm water. You do not have to use special soap. Be sure to wash all areas of the hands for about ten to fifteen seconds.

How do you get along with your teachers? Every day, we spend hours with our teachers at school, We learn from them, and they teach us to be good people. The relationship between students and teachers is very important.
Teachers care about our studies and lives, and it seems they know everything about the subjects they teach. They also have the right to decide who should be the class leaders or take part in activities on behalf of(代表)the class.
So, many students want to be the teacher's pet. We show teachers great respect. In class, we'll obey the rules and keep quiet if the teacher doesn't ask us to speak. We seldom argue with our teachers. When they make a mistake, we don't dare to point it out. Some of us are unwilling to communicate with teachers after class because we don't want to bother them.
At American schools, the situation is a little different. Teachers and students are more like friends. Calling a teacher by his or her name is common. In class, students express their opinions freely and challenge teachers when they don't agree. If it turns out that a teacher made a mistake, the teacher will say "sorry" in front of the whole class. Students and teachers also communicate through e-mail, Facebook or Twitter after class. They chat about studies and life experiences,
Teachers are like our parents and our friends. We should respect our teachers.
