The school library provides all kinds of books for students to read during this winter vacation. The following are some of their favourites.

War and Peace by the famous Russian writer Tolstoy. It’s about Russians fighting against French invasion (侵略） of their country in the 19th century. It is published in more than 100 languages.

On Three Kingdoms by Professor Yi Zhongtian. He talks about some interesting topics about stories and people in those war times in the book. You will learn the history and culture in that dynasty by reading the book. It is welcomed by a large number of readers.

The World of Basketball is a magazine about great events in the basketball world. There are articles about some well-known basketball players like Chinese player Yao Ming and American player Kobe Bryant. There are also many photos showing different games. It sells well.
