Part 1

If you are woken up by the sound of your smoke alarm, remember:

STOP—THINK—ACT

? Stay calm. Wake up all of the members of your family.

? Find a way to the nearest exit. Never use the lift.

? If the door feels hot, DO NOT open it.

? When you are safe outside, call the fire service at once.

? Don’t go back to the house for any reason until the fireman tells you it is safe to return.

If you can’t find a way out, you must use the second part of the plan.

Part 2

If you have to go through a smoke-filled hallway or room, go down on all fours (四肢著地).

? Always pass children down first.
