In the past ten years, great changes have taken place in our hometown. In the past, there used to be old houses. The river was very dirty. There were few trees beside the roads. People went to work or school on foot. But now, the streets are clean and wide . The river is clean and the water is clear. There are many trees and beautiful flowers beiside the roads. Many buses and taxis pass there. A lot of people have their own cars. People usually go to work by bus or by car. But the environment is not as good as before.

I am glad to see these great changes in my hometown. But I think it’s still important to remember the past. It tells that we should cherish the present life.I hope my hometown will be better and better.
