【題目】 Do you think robots could pass an eighth-grade test? Guess what—they can.
The artificial intelligence (AI) system Aristo recently passed the same eighth-grade science test that some US students take. The New York Times reported. Aristo correctly(正確地) answered 90 percent of the questions on the test.
This is an example of the progress that is being made in AI development. Four years ago, 700 computer scientists tried to develop AI systems that could pass these kinds of exams. None scored higher than 60 percent.
Scientists at the Allen Institute in the US developed the system. Aristo was able to pass the exam because it can not only understand language, but also use logical thinking(邏輯思維)to solve difficult problems. For example, it can understand what a forest fire is and how it could affect(影響) animals.
The system used BERT, a kind of neural(神經(jīng)的) network technology developed by Google, to answer the questions. BERT has "read" thousands of articles and can understand English. If it looks at a sentence with a missing word, it can correctly guess what the word is. With BERT's help, Aristo "read" many multiple-choice(多選的) questions. Over time, it was able to find logical patterns(邏輯模式).
Aristo’s success means that we might see new AI-based products(人工智能產(chǎn)品), such as search engines(搜索引擎) and databases(數(shù)據(jù)庫) for hospitals. AI systems might be able to better understand users in the future.

【題目】 China isn’t very well-known for its sci-fi films. But a new movie called The Wandering Earth has become China’s biggest sci-fi hit. It’s based on a short story written by a Chinese sci -fi( 科 幻 小 說 ) writer Liu Cixin. In the film, Earth is in face of being destroyed by the dying sun. So humans around the world work together to move Earth out of the solar(太陽的) system. But it will take 2, 500 years to do this.
In most space films, whenever Earth faces a disaster, the solution is always fleeing the planet in spaceships. But The Wandering Earth, offers a different idea: Earth goes wherever humans go, because it’s our home. Instead of giving up Earth again this time, we’re taking it with us.
For thousands of years, “homeland” has had an important place in the hearts and minds of Chinese people. This special cultural background is probably what makes The Wandering Earth different from Hollywood-style space films.
【1】The Wandering Earth is based on a short story written by a(n) ________.
A.Chinese sci-fi writerB.Chinese movie star
C.American film directorD.American doctor
【2】The underlined word “fleeing” in Paragraph 3 means “ ________” in Chinese.
A.破壞B.逃離C.保護(hù)D.探索

【題目】 Fighting an enemy that we cannot see is terrible. The novel coronavirus(新型冠狀病毒) is one of these invisible(看不見的) enemies and it brings us a great disasters. It has infected(感染) 435,519 people in China and other places in the world as of(截至) March 25. It was reported that it killed 3,281 people in China.
But even if we cannot see the virus, we know how it behaves and spreads around. It is just like most other viruses. To prevent any respiratory(呼吸系統(tǒng))illness, what we can do is to have good personal hygiene(衛(wèi)生). And that includes wearing a mask and washing hands. By wearing a mask, we keep ourselves away from the droplets (飛沫)that infected people coughed and (打噴嚏). These droplets can spread the virus — as far as two meters! But these droplets don’t stay in the air for long. They quickly fall and land on surfaces, like tables or clothes. They can also be passed on to elevator buttons(電梯按鈕)and door knobs(把手)by our hands. The novel coronavirus can stay alive for quite a long time on smooth surfaces, so washing hands becomes important.
A new discovery about the virus makes it even more necessary to keep these hygienic habits even if we don’t think we’ve interacted(接觸) with anyone infected. According to People’s Daily , there is evidence that the virus might be contagious(有傳染性的) even before patients start showing symptoms(癥狀). And these people don’t even know that they’re ill yet.
"However, this epidemic(傳染。 brings us a positive(積極的) change. It’s that we’ve developed better hygienic habits. After all, washing our hands is really what we should do every day.
根據(jù)上面短文內(nèi)容填空。

【3】When these droplets stay in the air, they _____________ quickly fall and land on surfaces but also can be passed on to elevator buttons and ____________ by our hands.

【5】A positive change has _____________ around us since this epidemic began—We’ve developed better hygienic habits. _____________, washing our hands is really what we should do every day.
