The government requires us to plant ________________ trees to improve our environment.

We ________________ games on the city wall last weekend.

________________ will make children unhappy and uncomfortable.

________________ news it is!

The new technology has been ________________ used.

1thousands of

2had fun/ had a good time / enjoyed ourselves playing

3Too much pressure/stress

4What inspiring/encouraging news

5more widely

2根據(jù)句中的last weekend“上個周末”可知,這句話應(yīng)用一般過去時,表示“玩得開心”的短語有很多,例如have a good time, have fun, enjoy oneself等,后面都跟動名詞形式,注意將動詞變?yōu)檫^去式。

例如第2小題,考查了幾個表示“玩得開心”的句型,如have fun/have a good time/enjoy oneself doing sth.,句中last weekend表示“上個周末”,應(yīng)用一般過去時,故have變?yōu)檫^去式had;enjoy的過去式是enjoyed;根據(jù)句意oneself應(yīng)變?yōu)?/span>ourselves。

Oh, the things that I should see if I had the power of sight for just three days!

The first day would be a busy one. I should call to me all my dear friends and look long into their faces, imprinting(刻上) upon my mind the outside evidences of the beauty that is within them. I should also view the small simple things of my home. I want to see the pictures on the walls, the lovely small furniture that changes a house into home. My eyes would rest respectfully on the books in dot-raised type which I have read, but they would be more interested in the printed books which seeing people can read, for during the long night of my life the books I have read and those which have been read to me have built themselves into a great shining lighthouse, showing me the deepest channels of human life and the human spirit.

In the afternoon of that first seeing day, I should take a long walk in the woods and rest my eyes on the beauties of the world of Nature trying to enjoy in a few hours the brilliance(光輝)which is presenting itself to those who can see. On the way home from my woodland trip, my path would lie close to a farm so that I might see the patient horses working in the field and the peaceful men living close to the soil.

When darkness had fallen, I should experience the double joy of being able to see, thanks to the man-made light which man has created to enlarge the power of his sight when Nature brings darkness

In the night of that first day of sight, I should not be able to sleep, so full would be my mind of the memories of the day!
