Teenagers are going to have lessons on how to sleep. Materials to teach teenagers how to get enough sleep will be offered to schools across Scotland by the charity Sleep Scotland. The purpose is to help people realize the importance of sleep for young people's physical and emotional health(身心健康).

The charity Sleep Scotland said watching TV and using computers and mobile phones at night could stop teenagers from getting the nine hours of sleep they need. It also offers a sleep advising service, saying getting enough sleep can improve grades and physical health. However, less sleep can result in being heavy and a greater risk of feeling worried and hopeless.

The charity Sleep Scotland hopes to educate young people about why they need a full night's sleep and how to develop good sleeping habits. Most students find it very difficult to get up in the morning and pay attention to their study. Sleep is most surely a problem.

Research shows that sleep time for teenagers around the world has got down in the past 10 to 20 years. A report by the charity Sleep Scotland said young people often believed they could make up for(彌補) sleep time during the week by sleeping late at weekends. However, by going to bed even later at weekends, they would actually have to experience a change in their body clocks, which would be harmful to their study on Monday mornings.

Have you ever dreamed about sending a letter to yourself or your friends in the future? While express mail(快遞) is a fast way to send your letters, there is another type of mail appearing in China as a new business—future mail.

“The letter should be sent next Mother’s Day and not a day earlier!” Lin Xiaofan, a college student in Shanghai, tells one of the companies offering the service.

Lin Xiaofan wrote the letter to her mother nearly a year earlier to express her love to her mother for next Mother’s Day.

“Offering this service makes people slow down and lets them understand the meaning of ‘time’ in another way,” said Zheng Zhimin, manager at a “future mail” company. Zheng thinks “future mail” letters help remind us of care, friendship and love.

While “future mail” is becoming more and more popular, some people are wondering what will happen if the postal address changes or if the company goes broken before the letters arrive.

Zheng said customers are glad to sign a contract(簽訂合同) to make sure that they can be compensated if their letters are lost or damaged.

Most of the customers are college students and young white-collar(白領) workers. Psychologists (心理學家) said that young Chinese might have a new way to express their feelings through this service. Most people put their hopes and wishes in the letter so that they can experience the connection(聯(lián)系) between the past and the present when they receive the letter.

A new report shows what life might be like in 100 years from now. Experts on space and architecture(建筑), and city planners gave their ideas on life in 2116. Twenty-five years ago, we could not imagine how greatly the Internet would change our lives. Now the Internet has revolutionized the way we communicate and learn. They said the changes in the next century would be even more unbelievable.

The way we live, work and play will be totally different from today. There will be many tall buildings, underwater cities, and holidays in space. People will work from home and have virtual(虛擬的)work meetings. People will have 3D printers to “print”everything they need at home, such as food, clothes and so on. There will also be less need for doctors. Our home health robot will tell us what the problem is and give us treatment. We will also go into space for holidays and get resources that we have used up on Earth. Researchers interviewed 2,000 adults about the predictions, and most of them thought they were most likely to happen!
