   The nearest thing we did this summer was going to the beach．It was my first trip to the ocean．We drove all day from West Virginia（西弗吉尼亞）to South Carolina（南卡羅萊納州）and stayed in a hotel not too far from the beach．I loved the sand!We walked all along the seaside and found pretty srones and little sea animals that I had not seen before．I'll not forget the sound of the waves as they rolled and rolled into the beach．
