I had been unhappy since(自從) my new neighbor moved in. Every time when I began writing, I could hear a girl singing next door. She didn’t sing well, and even out of tune(調(diào)). So it is really a noise pollution(噪音污染) for me.

One day, soon after I sat down behind the computer, I heard the girl singing again. I felt it was too noisy, so I had my husband go to next door and complained(抱怨) about the noise. Ten minutes later, my husband came back with a sad look, saying, “That girl is only 17 but she had bone(骨頭) cancer.
