When our children were younger, it was popular for city people to buy a small farm in the country and       a few animals there.
One of our new neighbors        ducks. They seemed very lovely; however, they were       to run around in their yard and the neighbors’ yards—     ours. Our vegetables were their favorite food. Often we would “shoo” the ducks home and want to know_      there wasn’t a fence to keep them.
One day, I asked her if she     her ducks were bringing trouble to my garden. She told me that they were her   _  and he was away traveling. My attitude (態(tài)度) to her was bad. We realized that our neighbors were not planning to build a       , so our son built one .The ducks now stayed in their own yard. I didn’t see my neighbor again       months later.
A women’s church group asked me to       at their mother and daughter party. The topic was “Love”. Much to my       ,the first woman I saw when I walked into the church was my neighbor. I knew I could not speak about love to them when I hadn’t been     __ my neighbor. So I walk        to her and said sorry for my attitude. She forgave(原諒)me and then we talked a lot     _ .

根據(jù)后面的描述They seemed very lovely,可知應(yīng)該是購買了鴨子,而不是賣掉、扔掉或者展示、炫耀;故選A。
根據(jù)本句話的后半部分he was away traveling.
根據(jù)第二段最后一句there wasn’t a fence to keep them.
由后面的內(nèi)容the first woman I saw when I walked into the church was my neighbor.
作者通過自己的經(jīng)歷并結(jié)合 go to clear the air between you.

I think the Buddy Club is great. I really enjoy talking with the older students about school life and growing up. They can tell me a lot. One student told me how he relaxed (放松) before exams. Another student told me about great websites about learning History and English.
The Buddy Club is also a good place to just forget about school altogether! One of the older students taught us origami We made paper planes, birds and hats together.
The table tennis tournament(錦標(biāo)賽) was a great idea. I didn’t do very well, but I learnt a lot from watching the doubles tournament won by a fourteen-year-old girl and a seventeen-year-old boy.
Last year, we had the annual (每年的) Buddy Club Picnic. Everyone enjoyed the games we played. After I learnt how to fish, I caught two fish in the lake. Many of the older students know how to do this already, and I think they would like to teach the younger students.
