   I spoke at a middle school in 1995. When it was over, the headmaster asked me if I would visit a student. An illness had kept him at home. He wanted to meet me， thinking I knew about overcoming (克服) difficulties and going for dreams. I agreed.

   During the drive to his home, I knew he was called Matthew, a real fighter. He had a muscle disease. I spent an afternoon talking to Matthew.
