    Marco Polo was born in 1254. His father was an Italian merchant.In 1271,17-year-old Marco Polo followed his father on a journey to the East. Three years later,Marco Polo reached China.     Swans (天鵝) at first didn’t have long necks but they had beautiful feathers.The ducks at that time were ugly.The swans wouldn't let the ducks swim with them.This made the ducks angry because they all lived near a pond (池塘) .
