The other day, I take part in the National English Debating Competition. I have a lot to share with you. At first, I feel really delighted what I’ve won the first prize in the competition, which makes me understood the true meaning of the proverb "no pains, no gains." Furthermore, in the five-days competition, I established a closely friendship with students from all over the country, from who I’ve learned a great deal. More importantly, taking this competition have enabled me overcome my fear of speaking in the public, thus developing my self-confidence. Additionally, I owe many thanks for my teacher and the judges, without whose help, I couldn’t have done such an excellent job.
