From my point of view, there are many reason that can cause nearsightedness. First of all, the wrong posture will result from nearsightedness. Read in the dark places can lead to nearsightedness as well as. Moreover, too much reading without a rest can be other important reason.

【2】 are 改為is
【3】reason改為reasons
【4】from改為in
【5】Read改為Reading
【7】other改為another
【8】 protect改為protecting
【9】is后加to
【10】could改為can
第一句中使用的句型為“it is +形容詞+that+從句”,it是形式主語(yǔ),真正的主語(yǔ)是that所引導(dǎo)的從句,為避免頭重腳輕句首使用it替代真正的主語(yǔ),is是謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞,后面接形容詞表示性質(zhì)狀態(tài)。
故將are改成is。
there+be 句型中are為復(fù)數(shù)形式,所以后面所修飾的名詞也該用復(fù)數(shù)形式,故將reason改為reasons。
【4】from改為in 考查介詞。
第五句中,as well as 表示“和”后面接名詞,as well表示“也”,根據(jù)句中意思可知道這里應(yīng)該用as well,表示在光線(xiàn)黑暗的地方讀書(shū)也會(huì)導(dǎo)致近視。
【7】other改為another考查代詞。
【9】is后加to 考查非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞。 第八句中,使用的句型為the method is to do sth,這是一個(gè)主系表結(jié)構(gòu),to引導(dǎo)的不定式在這里做表語(yǔ),意思是“做....的方法”故須在is后面必須加上不定式to。
【10】could改為can考查情態(tài)動(dòng)詞。第九句中,could為can的過(guò)去式,根據(jù)上下文可以看出,全文使用的是一般現(xiàn)在時(shí),根據(jù)時(shí)態(tài)一致的原則,應(yīng)將其改為原形can。

Writing journals has been one of the most helpful things I’ve ever done. Through writing journals I’ve not only learned a lot about myself, but also removed a lot of obsessive (煩惱的) thoughts, by writing them down and considering them.
Journals give you a place to write down your honest thoughts without being afraid of what people will think of you. There are some ideas for writing journals:
Draw pictures
Write poetry or short stories
Goals: daily and long-term
Respond to a magazine article that you are interested in
Write about obsessive thoughts and try to find what’s causing them
A list of things you are proud of (It can always increase your confidence when you need it)
Make a pro/con (贊成/反對(duì)) list when you’re trying to make a decision: most of the time the decision will start to be clearer afterwards
The best way to start is to decide where you want to write your journal. (Though it’s called the journal, it doesn’t mean you can only do it in a “journal”) . If you like the traditional style of journals, then use a notebook, blank paper or graph paper, whichever you like best. If you prefer to go digital, start a blog. You can make the blog public or private, and it’s a good way to keep track of articles or pictures you find online. (You can link to them.)
Even if you feel there’s nothing for you to write about at first, you might be surprised to find that onc you start, you can’t stop.

Jamie Oliver, a lively Britain guy, loves to share his secrets. In his first television show, The Naked Chef, Oliver taught everyone to make simple but delicious food. In Jamie’s Kitchen, he taught young people how to prepare meals. His next show, Jamie’s School Dinners, is about changing the food that students eat.
Oliver saw that some schools in Britain were serving junk food—food that is easy to eat but unhealthy. Although it can be delicious, junk food is not very good for children. It is sometimes bad for their health, because it doesn’t give them the energy they need at school. They sometimes can’t think well or feel down, and they sometimes put on weight.
Some of the junk food that Oliver wants to change is canned spaghetti, chicken nuggets, French fries, soda, and muffins. He encourages schools to serve fresh and health meats, vegetables and fruits. He helps the school cooks to make healthy dinners without junk food.
People liked Oliver’s idea of bringing quality food to schools. Thousands enjoyed his television show. But Oliver wanted them to do more than just watch. At his Feed Me Better websites, he collected over 270,000 signatures (簽名) from people. Oliver sent these signatures to British Prime Minister Tony Blair.
