3. 高質(zhì)量的就業(yè)就是良好教育的成果體現(xiàn);

4. 你是如何看待接受教育的?

A good education may have an essential part of one's life. A person is much more likely to have better job offers,a more successful career, and a higher yearly salary with a better education.

So it is important for new generation who want to obtain an ideal career and salary,to get a higher level education.

As far as I know, schooling begins in early childhood and ends at the end of teenage. If any?one can do well in all subjects at school,it is more natural for him to enter higher school smoothly. They can accept the education that adapts with their own condition and their future development, which means getting the employment of a high quality. But I think only adequate money can guarantee good education.

S Rifca Stanescu gave birth to her daughter Maria when she was only 13 !And now at 12 ,Maria is a mother to a 2-year-old boy.

Despite Rifca Stanescu's pleas for her daughter Maria to stay in school, the 11-year-old girl ran away, got married and got pregnant with her husband's baby. That's right, she was only 11 !History repeats itself.

At the age of 11,Rifca ran away with her now husband Ionel, who was only 13 at the time. The pair got married and conceived Maria. "I am happy to be a grandmother but I wished something else for Maria, and something else for me," Rifca tells the The Sun. "Ion is a good boy,and he is already engaged to a girl aged 8. Boys are always good to have, they don't have to suffer as much girls I think."

Already engaged? Seems weird right, but in Romanian gypsy culture that's normal. Rifca was promised to be married to someone else at the age of two,but once she met Ionel, she de?nied her family's wishes and ran away with him. "I wanted to marry him,so I agreed, and of course after we had spent the night together then there was no way anyone could separate us”, Rifca explains.

In gypsy culture, virginity is greatly prized and girls marry young so that their new hus?bands are assured they are virgins. If a woman loses her virginity before marriage, the deal is off. After Maria's birth,Ionel's family paid Rifca's father a dowry (嫁妝) and so that everything could be settled.

So when Maria decided at the age of 11 to get married,Rifca couldn't really do anything about it. "I did not try to stop my daughter getting married because this is the tradition," she says, "it's what happens."

科目:高中英語 來源: 題型:

Teaching children to read well from the start is the most important task of elementary schools. But relying on educators to approach this task correctly can be a great mistake. Many schools continue to employ instructional methods that have been proven ineffective. The staying power of the "looksay" or " wholeword" method of teaching beginning reading is perhaps the most flagrant example of this failure to instruct effectively.

The wholeword approach to reading stresses the meaning of words over the meaning of let?ters, thinking over decoding, developing a sight vocabulary of familiar words over developing the ability to unlock the pronunciation of unfamiliar words. It fits in with the selfdirected, "learning how to learn" activities recommended by advocates (倡導(dǎo)者) of "open" classrooms and with the concept that children have to be developmentally ready to begin reading. Before 1963,no major publisher put out anything but these "Run-Spot-Run" readers.

However,in 1955,Rudolf Resch touched off what has been called "the great debate" in beginning reading. In his bestseller Why Johnny Cant Read,Flesch indicted (控訴) the nation's public schools for miseducating students by using the looksay method. He said―and more scholarly studies by Jeane Chall and Rovert Dykstra later confirmed―that another approach to beginning reading, founded on phonics (語音學(xué)) ,is far superior.

Systematic phonics first teaches children to associate letters and letter combinations with sounds;it then teaches them how to blend these sounds together to make words. Rather than building up a relatively limited vocabulary of memorized words,it imparts a code by which the pronunciations of the vast majority of the most common words in the English language can be learned. Phonics does not devalue the importance of thinking about the meaning of words and sentences;it simply recognizes that decoding is the logical and necessary first step.

(   ) 1. What does the underlined phrase " touchedoff" most probably mean?

   A. Moved off. B. Set off. C. Took off. D. Droped off.

(   ) 2. The author accuses the "looksay" reading approach because         .

   A. it overlooks decoding

   B. some experts agree with him

   C. it devalues the useful phonics method

   D. many schools still use this method

(   ) 3. The difference between the looksay method and the phonics method is         .

   A. looksay is only logical and natural

   B. phonics is merely effective and reasonable

   C. looksay is easier to teach and reliable

   D. phonics gives readers access to far more words

(   ) 4. According to the passage, the better way of teaching children reading is         .

   A. "looksay" or "wholeword" method

   B. systematic phonics approach

   C. " learning how to learn" activities

   D. "Run-Spot-Run" method
