   What are the causes of this phenomenon？For one thing，many companies believe that excessive packing can attract customers'attention so as to gain more profits．For another，some consumers believe that the more delicate the package is，the better the quality will be．As far as I am concerned，excessive packaging is actually a waste of resources and may cause unnecessary environmental pollution，so it should be avoided．
   It's high time to deal with this problem．To begin with，laws should be made to restrict excessive packaging．What's more，we should build the awareness that excessive packaging doesn't equal high quality and advocate appropriate packaging．
