閱讀下面短文,并按照題目要求用英語(yǔ)問(wèn)答問(wèn)題(請(qǐng)注意問(wèn)題后詞數(shù)要求)。
Too many people want others to be their friends, but they don’t give friendship back. That is why some friendships don’t last very long. To have a friend, you must learn to treat your friend the way you want your friend to treat you. Learning to be a good friend means learning three rules: be honest; be generous; be understanding.
Honesty is where a good friendship starts. Friends must be able to trust one another. If you don’t tell the truth, people usually find out. If a friend finds out that you haven’t been honest, you may lose your friend’s trust. Good friends always rely on one another to speak and act honestly.
Generosity(大度) means sharing and sharing makes a friendship grow. You don’t have to give your lunch money or your clothes, of course. Instead you have to learn how to share things you enjoy, like your hobbies and your interests. Naturally you will want to share your ideas and feelings. These can be very valuable to a friend. They tell your friend what is important to you. By sharing them you help your friend know you better.
Sooner or later everyone needs understanding and help with a problem. Something may go wrong at school. Talking about the problem can make it easier to solve(解決). Turning to a friend can be a first step in solving the problem. So to be a friend you must listen and understand. You must try to put yourself in your friend’s place so you can understand the problem better.
No two friendships are ever exactly alike. But all true friendships have three things in common. If you plan to keep your friendships, you must practise honesty, generosity and understanding.

Dear Editor,
I’m the only daughter of my parents. So they worried about everything I do. For example,
when I ride my bike, my parents won’t let me to ride by myself. They are afraid I might
fall off  my bike and hurt myself. They are taking great trouble to support a bike, with
my mother even carried a first-aid box. I’m not free to ride and I often say angry, “Why not
let me ride alone?”Now, most family have one child. Parents want to do everything
for his children. This does no good on them. Too many love from parents may prevent
children from independent. In my opinion, parents should let their children do that they
should do alone.

When I was a little girl, my grandparents lived in a house with a big front yard. They loved each other and planted lots of vegetables and flowers together in the yard.
But one summer Grandpa died, so it was hard for Grandma to care for the garden alone. When spring came, she planted just a few vegetables and flowers.
One day in the early summer, Grandma heard big noises in the yard. She looked out of the window and saw thousands of bees.
What could she do? Should she hire someone to get rid of the bees? But that would cost more than she could afford. She decided to wait.
Over the next few days, the bees were busy with their own business. That summer, Grandma's little garden grew and grew. The neighbors would stop to admire the big crop of vegetables and the lovely flowers.
One day, Grandma's brother visited. When she told him about the bees, he said, "Farmers often hire beekeepers to come to their fields. The bees pollinate (授粉) the crops, which helps them to grow."
"So that's why my garden is doing so well!" She believed Grandpa had sent the bees to take his place and make Grandma's little garden grow and grow...

What Teenagers Can Do To Earn More Respect?
As teenagers continue to grow and develop into young adults, the transition(過(guò)渡) into adulthood has begun. With so many physical and emotional changes going on, certain manners are often forgotten and other adult traits are not yet accepted as a way of life.   小題1:  By doing the following things, you will earn more respect.
Contribute to the household
At the very least, clean up after yourself. As a teenager, you are old enough to clean up after yourself. When you make a mess, clean it up.   小題2: All chores (雜活) that you do help to reduce the load of the person who did them before. Now that you’re old enough and capable, why shouldn’t you contribute to the household?   小題3:
Be responsible
小題4: Whether they are basic things, like brushing your teeth or doing your homework, or more involved chores that contribute to the household, simply fulfill your responsibilities on time. When adults know that they can rely on you, their trust and respect for you will increase.
Solve more of your own problem without asking for help
Instead of taking the easy approach and asking for help, make an effort to solve your problems on your own first. The “easy way ” is only easy for you, but it is an extra task for the person from whom you are seeking help. Seek help only after you have made an honest effort to solve your own problems.  小題5:  When you become a good problem solver, you increase your valve to the community.
A.The people doing the chores before will greatly appreciate the help.
B.It will make your life more pleasant.
C.Everyone has certain responsibilities.
D.When speaking to a group, speak loud enough.
E. This includes, but is not limited to, your dishes and your room.
