Every high school student wants to get into famous universities and they spend most of their time review lessons. Nowadays, many graduates find hard to be admitted to famous universities. To be honest, only the small number of students can get so golden chances. Therefore, I have a strong desire to enter for Beijing University to study. To make my dream come true, I have to know my advantage and weaknesses. Besides, I must work hard or put all my time and energy into study. Most important, I must arrange my time properly. I sometimes just wanted to sit in the dark. I hate to admit this, or sometimes when I’m feeling bad, I’ll lock myself in the bathroom, turn away the lights and just sit on the floor. I don’t know what. Maybe I feel comfortable and relaxed in totally darkness. Sometimes, I just stare into the darkness without think of anything. Maybe I’m sitting there waiting for someone show up. I also think of all kind of things sometimes. I will not only think of the things that they happened in the past, but imagine what will happen in a future. It really helps as I will be happier after that.

I often quarrel with my mother over if I can watch TV after school. She holds the view that high school students has to make full use of every minute to work hard at their lesson. It seems to her that once I am allowed to do that, I’ll be unable to control myself and forgot all about my study. I also thinks watching TV is bad for my eyes. But I really can’t accept her ideas. In my opinion, watching TV can make my mind to have a rest after a day’s hardly work. Beside, it is important for us to know what has happened home and abroad. Thus, we shouldn’t be forbidding to watch TV.

Today is Mother’s Day. I love mother so much that I’ve done many things for him. In the morning I buy some flowers with my pocket money and put them in a vase. In the afternoon, I went to buy some vegetable and cooked simple but delicious dinner for my family. After the meal, I gave mother a card what I made myself and said “Happy Mother’s Day” to her. Last Sunday afternoon I went to a park by bike. I was walking in the park while a couple asked me if I could help take some photos of me. I was more than willingly to offer my service. With many thank, they waved goodbye to me. Therefore, a few minutes later, I found they had been dropped a black handbag on the bench where they had sat. Believe they would return, I decided to wait for them with the handbag on my hand. Soon, they hurried back and I returned the handbag to them, for that they thanked me again and again. What great pleasure it was to help others out!
