I feel so honored to have won the first prize in this English speech contest. It is really a big surprise for me as there are so many excellent speakers.

Standing here, I first owe my success to my dear teacher Ms. Li. It was she who gave me so much encouragement and guidance to prepare for this contest ，who helped me to improve my oral English. Without her, I couldn’t have made it.

I know that is still a long way for me to go and I’m determined to study harder in the coming days.
