Last Sunday, some of my classmates and I went to the West Lake for fun. I noticed an old dustman collecting rubbish throw about by visitors. Maria, a 91-year-old woman, has an unbelievable experience last week. A group of thieves broke in her house but took nothing away with them. Maria recalled that the windows were broken and that all her box were opened, but nothing was missing. Instead, she found a handwritten note on the table that was said, “This is help you to get by.” Beside the note there was some money. It seemed that the thieves realized how poor Maria lived and decided not to take something—but to help. One policeman who has been working for 40 years is surprising by this event too.
