Losing a job is considered one of the five most stressful life changes you can experience. Those who have been there say it feels like being robbed of your identity and is as painful as the loss of a loved one.
It may be hard to believe at first, but finally you can use this experience as your advantage—to find another, perhaps even better job, to strengthen your relationship with your family, and to make some much-needed changes in your life. Here are three essential steps.
Step1 Get emotional support. Because it’s easy to feel uneasy and vulnerable（脆弱), turning to others is the key to making a smooth transition(過渡). You’ll need people who will listen and provide a safe place for you to cry, or to express your fears and concerns.
Don’t go it alone. It takes courage to ask for help, and yet, help may be what you need most to move forward.
Step2 Seek professional guidance. Getting assistance from a recruiter（招聘人員) or career adviser will not only help you value your experience and improve your skills, it also will ensure that you put your best foot forward. Once again, your local unemployment office should have helpful resources.
If possible, try not to let fear cause you to grab the first new job you’re offered (unless it’s the right one). Give yourself time to explore different choices.
Step3 Consolidate family ties. Meet with family members to openly discuss your feelings. Listen carefully without interrupting one another, and give everyone a turn to speak. When a man I know did this with his family, his wife agreed to leave the job search planning to him and his outplacement adviser. In turn, he agreed to keep her informed about the process on a weekly basis. When you keep the lines of communication open, you can build stronger relationships.
Once you’ve got a new job, create your own security. Keep your resume up-to-date, stay in touch with recruiters about the job market, and constantly improve your skills to stay marketable in your field.

I was taking a train to London’s Victoria Station. I had noticed that the carriage was noise and filled with people.
Before long, a train inspector comes to check out tickets. A passenger realized he couldn’t find his ticket but became quite upset. With the mid-term exam come，you must get prepared for them. I think that you need is a right study method. As we all know，there are three stage in study—preview，study in class and review，among them review is the most important. You should first make a review plan，and then stick to it.

The Pathfinder
When we found him, he was a sorry sight. His clothes were torn, his hands bleeding. Before we reached him, we saw him fall. He lay a moment. Then he pulled himself to his feet, walked unsteadily a few yards through the woods and fell again.

This man, like others before him, had simply been frightened when he knew he was lost. What had been a near disaster might have turned out as only a pleasant walk, had he made a few preparations before he stepped from the highway or off a known path.
Whatever sense of direction that a man may have, it’s still largely a question of observation. A skilled woodsman always keeps an eye on his surroundings. He notes that the shape of a mountain, the direction water flows through a swamp, and the way a tree leans across a path. With these in mind, he may be turned around many times, but he is seldom lost.
There are exceptions, of course, and once in a while a man does come across some strange problem that puts him into the “l(fā)ost” situation. A rainstorm or sudden blizzard may catch him without a compass (指南針) in his pocket. Darkness may find him in a rough area, where travel is dangerous without a light.
When this happens, the normal first reaction (反應) is the fear of being laughed at as a result of his poor knowledge in the woods. He may also be concerned about the inconvenience that he will cause his friends when he doesn’t show up. This false pride may lead him to keep on the move in a false effort to find his way against all difficulties.
