     I just came back from Britain last week. I was luckily enough to be one of the students from
different country to visit the UK from Feb. 16 to 28. We paid a visit to a good many of places, like
London, Oxford or the Lake District. I learned much about British culture and history in London,
where was my favorite. I also liked Oxford, in which I saw much more old buildings. The Lake
District was beautiful, but it was pity that it rained heavily when they were there. The most excited
thing for me in Britain was that I make a lot of friends there.

With people’s life improving, more and more rubbish are produced, which causes many problems.For example, air becomes pollute and water is too dirty for fish to live in.As a result of, when people breathe air of poor quality, you will fall ill.Also, when used plastic bags are thrown into a field, the crops cannot grow as good as expected.Though many laws have been made to keep the situation becoming worse, there is still much work for us to do, specially in the countryside, where rubbish can be found everywhere.In addition, an increased number of mosquitoes have appeared there in recent years.It is not until all people realized the importance of environmental protection when the situation can be improved.

I saw an accident happened on my way to home this afternoon. A girl was crossing the street on a zebra crossing while a young man drove a motorbike towards her. The young man saw the girl and tried to stop, and he drove too fast to stop. He hit the girl and fell off her motorbike. The girl was badly hurt and couldn’t move. The young man didn’t know how to do. I ran to a phone box nearby and dialed 110. Soon the police reached. They sent her hospital at once. One of the policeman talked to the young man and wrote something down while was talking. I think it is very dangerous to drive very fast.

When I was in high school, most of my friend had bicycles. I hoped I could also have it. One day I saw a second-hand bicycle, that was only one hundred yuan. I asked my father the money. But he said he could only give me half of the money. He should find the other half myself. So I went to sell newspapers after the school. My father was pleased if I showed him the money a month late. He gives me the other fifty. You can imagine how much happy I was when I rode to school on my own bicycle.

    Lantern Festival is a traditional festival of the China. It is celebrated
on the fifteen day of the first month of the lunar year. Lantern
  Festival is one of the biggest holiday in China. Several days before
  Lantern Festival,people began to make lanterns. Lanterns are made
  in the shape of differently things,usually with some riddles on
  them. On eve of Lantern Festival,all the lanterns are hung up.In
  Lantern Festival people go outside to have a look at the lanterns but
  guess the riddles on them. Perhaps you can see any wonderful folk
  performances,Dragon Dance and Yangko. Everything is very interested
