【答案】Dear Editor,

This is a picture of a busy road. The cyclists and the vehicles are waiting for the traffic lights to turn green. From the picture we can see each of the two women volunteers is holding a red flag to make a stop sign.

At some crossings of busy streets and roads in a city or a big town, we often see volunteers helping keep traffic order and maintain traffic safety. In addition, they also promote traffic etiquette. Due to their devotion, people’s awareness of traffic safety and obeying traffic laws can be improved. Their good deeds should be sung high praise for.

From my point of view, as civilized citizens we should obey traffic rules consciously and become polite drivers or cyclists. Thus we can help improve traffic conditions and reduce traffic accidents to some degree.

Measuring at 8.0Ms, a terrible earthquake strikes Wenchuan on May 12, 2008. A great number of houses and buildings was destroyed, left as many as 10,000,000 people homeless. That shocked us was that almost everything was in ruins. Fortunate, the government took steps immediately. Now after a decade, with people who come from all fields giving a helpful hand, a new city appears in the front of us but it looks like a beautiful garden. One year ago, I had a special English lesson hold at the railway station. It was quite different from the regular English classes we were familiar to, for we had no textbooks, no blackboard and no fixed seats.

Gathered at the entrance of the station, we told to collect as much English words and sentence as possible there. Curious and excited, we walked around the station and looked everywhere, search for any information in English. Whenever an English word comes into sight, the class wouldburstinto the cheers as if we had discovered a new world. With the Chinese translation and vividly pictures, we could figure out its meaning with ease.

Now, this unforgettable lesson still encourages me to be an active learner where I go.
