Write NO MORE THAN THREE WORDS for each answer. Tomatoes are the world's most popular fruit rich in nutrition like Vitamin A, C, fibre and lycopene (番茄紅素). Researchers have found that consuming lycopene helps in preventing cancer. Tomato also helps in keeping the skin healthy and young by protecting from harmful rays. Since lycopene is present in the cellular wall of tomato, it is better to consume cooked tomato to have higher concentration of lycopene. So tomatoes are a wonderful fruit. Then how to grow tomatoes? First, there should be regular and even watering in the fields where tomatoes grow. You can also add fertilizer to have better results. Plant the tomato plants with enough space(for example 2 to 3 inch space)between each other to lessen spreading of disease and pests and help the fruits get enough sunlight. Provide support like pole when the plants grow up to prevent from disease and to increase the crop product. In order to make your tomatoes grow well, you should take some useful tips. For example, choose variety based on the season and soil type that you are growing. Planting site should have enough sunlight to have more fruits. Prune(修剪)the tomato plants if necessary to maintain a manageable size. Check tomato plants regularly for any kind of pests and diseases. To people's regret, tomatoes possibly suffer from some diseases during their growth. So you must try your best to prevent them. Soil should be free from debris(殘骸)of earlier plant remains and should be treated first before tomato plantation like solarizing(曬) to prevent from pests. It is always better to choose resistant plant varieties and follow crop rotation(輪作)as far as possible.

Few people realize that there is a big difference between formal English and informal English. Formal English is used for most writing, and often in public speaking and formal meetings. It pays close attention to grammar rules, because if we use proper grammar, our meaning is often more precise. Also, on important occasions, we do not want to appear uneducated or to offend (冒犯) others, so we are very careful about how we speak. Informal English is used in speaking or writing to our friends and family. It often does not pay such close attention to grammar rules, because when we speak or write to them, we want our words to flow quickly. Also, with our friends and family, we are usually not so worried about appearing uneducated or about offending them by how we write or speak.
A big difference between formal and informal English is the use of contractions. A contraction is where we make a word shorter or where we put two words together and take away some of the letters. For example, instead of saying “do not”, many people say “don’t”. Using contractions in our speech is fine because it sounds natural, especially when we speak to our friends. In formal writing, however, contractions are usually avoided because people might think that you have made a mistake, or that you do not know proper grammar.
In the same way we might make words shorter, in informal English we often make sentences shorter as well. For example, if someone asks you your name, you will likely answer with one word: your first name. However, in formal English we usually use complete sentences. For example, we might write “My name is John”. In most speaking, we may not need to use every word in a sentence because the person we are speaking to will probably still understand us. In most writing, however, every word in a sentence must be written out in order to make sure that we can be understood.

Each time I see a balloon, my mind flies back to a memory of when I was a six-year-old girl. It was a rainy Sunday and my father died. I asked my mom if Dad had gone to heaven. “Yes, honey. Of course,” she said.
“Can we write him a letter?”
She paused, the longest pause of my short life, and answered, “Yes.”
My heart jumped. “How? Does the mailman go there?” I asked.
“No, but I have an idea.” Mom drove to a party store and returned with a red balloon. I asked her what it was for.
“Just wait, honey. You’ll see” Mom told me to write my letter. Eagerly, I got my favorite pen, and poured out my six-year-old heart in the form of blue ink. I wrote about my day, what I learned at school, what Mom was doing, and even about what happened in a story I had read. For a few minutes it was as if Dad were still alive, I gave the letter to Mom. She read it over, and a smile crossed her face.
She made a hole in the corner of the letter where she looped(纏繞) the balloon string. We went outside and she gave me the balloon. It was still raining.
“Okay, on the count of three, darted(猛沖) upward against the rain. We watched until it was swallowed by the clouds.

No matter what he suffered, he’d persevere, dart up, and finally transcend(超越) this cold world and his sick body. He rose into sky and became something beautiful. I watched until the balloon disappeared into the gray and white sky and I prayed that his strength was hereditary(遺傳的). I prayed to be a balloon.

Write NO MORE THAN THREE WORDS for each answer. With an obese (very fat) or overweight population of 66% percent of adults, teaching your kids healthy eating habits is one of the most important things you can do for them as a parent. Most parents and children claim that breakfast is part of their everyday routines. But for many more than you might think, it's not. Children who eat breakfast have higher math grades, have improved reading scores and basically perform better in school. They also tend to have healthier bodies in general, with better-controlled weight levels. When you take them to the grocery store with you, it's doubtless that your children will request the most sugar-filled, fat-injected products on the shelf. But these are not the ones to have in your home-you should avoid buying them at all. Be sure your kids have healthy snacks. Yes, kids like white bread. But any kid can get used to the taste of whole grains. It just takes a little practice. Look for white bread, and add other whole grains into their diet. Start toasting their sandwiches. When it's toasted, it'll be that much harder for them to tell the difference in taste. It's simple, it's true, and it's something you already know: kids who get plenty of exercise are healthier kids. Set limits on the amount of time your child may spend in front of the television or computer screen. Sign them up for plenty of sports and outdoor activities. And best of all, get involved in sports and exercise with them. One of the best things you can do to establish healthy eating habits in your kids is to have them yourself. You can tell your kids every day to eat healthy foods, but if you don't do the same thing yourself, the lesson will never stick.
