　　Last weekend I had an interview with Fenn, an American professor of psychology, concerning the issue of the relation between sleep and memory. A new study suggests that sleep helps reduce errors in memory and this finding have practical effects on everyone. According to Fenn, the causes are not known. He suspects it may be due to sleep strengthening a vital element of the memory process—the source of the memory. Or perhaps people who don’t sleep well receive too much information over the course of the day, affecting their memory ability.

　　While doing his yard last summer, the author discovered that a sunflower managed to grow under a big rock to reach the sun, which shocked him as a miracle of life.
　　I realized that if a tiny little sunflower didn’t let a big rock stand in its way of developing, we have the capability of doing the same thing. Once our environment begins to see that we believe in ourselves like that little sunflower, we can attain the same nourishment and nurture as well.
　　In order to achieve our goals in our life like the sunflower, we need to believe in ourselves first, knowing we have the capabilities in achieving our desires. We should be like the sunflower which knew it had the capability to overcome its obstacle because it trusted in the universal truth and had faith that it would succeed. Besides, if we can stand tall like the sunflower and be proud of who and what we are, the environment will begin to support us. Eventually we will find a way to go under or around our big obstacle in order to reach our desires.
