　　Although the power relations in the Schumacher household seem to have been settled till now－Michael wins, Ralf races after him－it looks as if the trend is starting to move slowly but clearly in a new direction．The struggle is open for the first time．In the current season, Ralf is indeed at last driving a car that meets the technical requirements and has the class to win the World Championship．

　　At the beginning of August, the brothers, who are now resident in other European countries(to save on their tax bills), will be competing against each other again for the German Grand Prix．The tension is rising, but at the same time it is reassuring to know that whether Michael’s Ferrari or Ralf’s BMW eventually takes the lead： they will be keeping it in the family．

　　"It's a great start, even though it's nowhere near what the Russians and the U．S．have accomplished with space flight," said Roger D．Launius, referring generally to China's space program．

　　Russia and the United States conducted their first spacewalks in 1965, and in 1969 the United States became the first country to put a person on the moon．But Michael D．Griffin, the administrator of NASA, has repeatedly warned that despite the head start by other nations, the Chinese program is moving swiftly and could overtake American efforts to return to the moon by 2020．Mr．Griffin said, "It was likely that China will be able to put people on the Moon before we will be able to get back．"He added, "I admire what they have done．but I am concerned that it will leave the United States in the wake of China．"

Most importantly, parents should let their kids know that mistakes are a part of learning.”

  Some experts say our education system, with its strong emphasis on testing and separation of students into different levels of ability, also bears blame for the disappearance of drive in some kids. “These programs shut down the motivation of all kids who aren’t considered gifted and talented. They destroy their confidence,” says Jeff Howard, a social psychologist. Howard and other educators say it’s important to expose kids to a world beyond homework and tests, through volunteer work, sports, hobbies and other extracurriculum activities.

  “The problem of the issue is that many students experience education as irrelevant to their life goals and ambitions,” says Michael Nakkual, a Harvard education professor. The key to getting kids to aim higher at school is to free them of the idea that class work is irrelevant, to show them how doing well at school can actually help them fulfill their dreams beyond it.
