解答 I've learned from the newspaper that your company is looking for∧receptionist.I'm very interesting in the job and I'd like to apply to the position.
First of all, allow me to introduce myself.I had just graduated from high school and taken the University Entrance Examination.I want to find out a part-time job this summer.I'm 18 year old and have a good command of English, especial in terms or speaking and listening. In fact,I once won the first prize in the English speech competition hold in our school.Besides,I'm quite easy-going but therefore very popular amon g my classmates.
I sincerely hope you can give us a chance.I'm looking forward to your reply.
2.interesting改為interested 考查固定搭配.be interested in意為"對…感興趣",是固定搭配.
3. to改為for 考查介詞.
6.year改為years 考查名詞復數(shù).years old意為"…歲(指年齡)",年齡超過一時,year用復數(shù)形式.
7.especial改為especially 考查副詞.根據(jù)句意:尤其是在聽說方面.結(jié)合語境可知此處用副詞作狀語修飾介詞短語.
8.hold改為held 考查過去分詞.此處指的是在我們學校舉行的演講比賽.過去分詞作定語表示被動的動作,和被修飾詞是動賓關系.
9.but改為and 考查連詞.
10.us改為me 考查代詞.

19.Directions:Read the following passage.Summarize the main idea and the main point(s) of the passage in no more than 60words.Use your own words as far as possible.
Why do we read poetry?First obvious one:because we enjoy it.The only other reason is for academic purposes,and that's not why this is here.
Many of us read poetry simply because we often feel depressed and hopelessly lost,and in poetry we see how beautiful and strange everything is.So in that way poetry calms our anxiety.
There are many different kinds of poems.They are not all calming.Some poems make me anxious,angry,scared,and sad,which is why I value them.As a reader,I want a full meal,not just dessert.I want the sweet and the bitter.Often,I read poetry when I'm already relaxed.In fact,I read more when I'm not stressed out.
Here are the main reasons I respond to poetry,as far as I can tell.Metrical (格律的) poems are about setting up rules and then bending them.Usually this is done by setting up a rhythm and then breaking it or almost breaking it,and then returning to it again.This satisfies my desire for order and also my desire for testing boundaries.
Poetry plays with language and often puts words together in surprising ways, which is thrilling the way that food can be,when the chef has paired ingredients you never thought would taste good together but somehow do.
Many poems are dense.Words mean two or three things at once and lots of suggestions are packed between the lines.This is intellectually inspiring and it allows me to read the same poem over and over,always finding new things in it.
And,of course,there's the subject matter.It interests me just as it would if the same subject was explored in a story or essay.Not all poems interest me in this way,but then not all stories and essays do,either.
People read poems for enjoyment as well as academic purpose.Unlike many other people, the author reads different kinds of poems not only for calmness but also for other emotional experience, and the main reason for it is their fixed rules to be followed or challenged, surprising word combination, richness in meaning and interesting subjects..

1.Four extra points of IQ,an extra year's education and a significantly enhanced income at the age of 30.Those are the benefits of having been breast-fed,according to a study just published in Lancet Global Health by Bernardo Horta of the Federal University of Pelotas,in Brazil,and his colleagues.
Previous research has suggested that breast-feeding has beneficial long-term effects.But Dr Horta's work is particularly persuasive because it looks at adults rather than children and teenagers,and because it contradicts the suggestion that social class is a confounding variable(混雜變量),with rich mothers tending to breast-feed more than poor mothers do.
The participants in the study were among a group of Brazilians born in Pelotas in 1982.Following a cohort(一群人) like this through their lives is an established method of medical research.It lets doctors test hypotheses that retrospective(涉及以往的) examination,relying on memory,cannot address reliably.In 2012and 2013Dr Horta managed to track down 3,493members of the cohort whose diet as babies,including their consumption of breast milk,had been recorded at the time,ask them some questions,and give them an IQ test.
Comparing those who,as babies,had been breast-fed for less than a month with those who had been so fed for more than a year,Dr Horta found the latter's IQ was 3.76points higher than the former's and that they had attended school for 0.91years longer.The income data were slightly more complicated.Those breast-fed for over a year had incomes 15% higher than those suckled for less than a month,but those breast-fed for six to 12months did even better,at 55%.These effects,moreover,were unaffected by a family's income at the time a study participant was born.
The reasons for this are not known for certain,though it is easy to speculate.Human milk has,presumably,been optimised for human nutrition by evolution.The social contact involved in suckling may also have an effect.But the underlying cause is less important than the result.As Winston Churchill once said,"there is no finer investment for any community than putting milk into babies."Add the word"mother's"in front of"milk",and the returns on that investment get finer still.
