【1】It seems like everyone has a blog these clays. To make it a popular website, there are a few general guidelines you should follow to increase your chances of success.

【2】Write about what you know, and stick to one topic for a while. If you write without checking facts or with no experience behind your articles.people won’t believe it and won't come back to your siteSimilarly,if you write about too many different topics, you won’t be able to build up an audience of readers as easily.

【3】The first thing students are taught as early as grade school about evaluating websites is that if there are a bunch of grammatical errors, the website probably isn’t credible(可信的).This means that you need to check every single post you write before you put it up on your site. It’s a good idea to write something, leave it sit for a while, and then come back to read it over before you post it.This gives you flesh eyes to catch mistakes.

【4】Keeping a schedule of posts can help you not disappoint your readers, because they will start to come back to your site regularly to see what’s new. It’s a good idea to set a goal for yourself and keep it,which is important to keep your readers coming back for more.

【5】Knowing how search engines like Google or Bing find your site can help your posts show up higher on Internet searches and, therefore, get you more clicks to your site.

While applying to college may seem easy, getting in can be tough! When you apply for college, you will have to be honest with yourself and do a bit of research to find the right fit. Here are three steps to take when applying to colleges for the best chances at getting into the best college for you.
Step l: Making A List Of Colleges To Apply To
With over 6,000 colleges in the United States, the first step in applying to college is to do some research and make a college list .This process will be different for everyone. The number of colleges you apply to can vary, from applying  to 1 school (not recommended) to 30 schools (not recommended),each applicant can choose how many colleges they apply to. Many limit the number because applications are accompanied by a fee.
Step2: Splitting The List Into Target, Reach and Safety Schools
In general, students will want to apply to three types of schools: Target, Reach and Safety schools. It is up to you how many applications you send, but a good mix would be more target than reach, and at least one safety. You will need to take your list, and now decide which are your top picks, which are attainable for you academically, which are affordable for you only with aid, and refine your broad list into a group of schools that gives you the best chance for success. Talk to an admissions counselor at your high school if you have questions about this.
Step 3: Completing and Sending Applications to Colleges
Once your list is complete you are ready to apply to college by completing and sending in applications! College applications take time to complete —you have to write essays, ask for recommendations and get test scores sent to schools—so stay organized! All colleges will require these types of application materials, so start thinking about these items well before October or December. Once you complete and send them, then you have successfully applied to college.

From birth to death, the word kick has been given an important part in expressing human experience. The proud and happy mother feels the first signs of life kicking inside her body. And that same life------many years later------ comes to its end in a widely-used expression, to kick the bucket( 吊桶) .  The expression to kick the bucket is almost 200 years old.  One belief is that it started when an English stableman(馬夫) killed himself by hanging  while standing on a bucket. He put a rope around his neck and tied it to a beam(梁柱) in the ceiling, and then kicked the bucket away from under him.
Another old expression that comes from England is to kick over the traces. Traces were the chains(鏈子) that held at horse or mule to a wagon(貨運(yùn)馬車)or plow. Sometimes, an animal refused to obey and kicked over the traces.
Kick around is an expression that is heard often in American English. A person who is kicked around is someone who is treated badly. Usually he is not really being kicked by somebody's foot. He is just not being treated with the respect that all of us want. A person who has kicked around for most of his life is someone who has spent his life moving from place to place. In this case, kicking around means moving often from one place to another. Kick around has another meaning when you use it with the word idea. When you kick around an idea, you are giving that idea some thought.
There is no physical action when you kick a person upstairs, although the pain can be as strong .You kick a person upstairs by removing him from an important job and giving him a job that sounds more important, but really is not.
Still another meaning of the word kick is to free oneself of a bad habit, such as smoking cigarettes. Health campaigns urge smokers to kick the habit.

Last year more than one million Filipinos worked abroad as servants, nurses, sailors and in other difficult but low-paid jobs.Southeast Asians leave their poorer countries for their richer neighbours.
Many of these wage-earners return in the end.In the meantime, they send home huge amounts of money—in the Philippines’ case, over 10% of its GDP.Between January and November, the amount was up 18% on the same period of 2005.Poverty and unemployment are still high in the Philippines and other labour-exporting(勞務(wù)輸出) countries. They would be far worse but for this outflow of bodies and inflow of dollars. As for those Asian countries that import(輸入) labour,as in Europe, falling birth rates mean they are going to need more foreign workers.
On January 13th leaders of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations(ASEAN) signed an agreement to help migrant(流動(dòng)的) workers—with the realization that the flow of labour between their countries is a growing problem that they cannot blame on outsiders.A 2005 study showed that 8.4 million Southeast Asians worked outside their home countries, but this did not include the huge numbers of Indonesians doing so without papers. So the true total is probably rather higher.
Of the ten ASEAN countries, the Philippines,Indonesia,Myanmar,Cambodia,Vietnam and Laos export labour,Singapore and Brunei import it,and Thailand and Malaysia do both.Sziraczki of the UN’s International Labour Organization points out that,in the next ten years, the total labour force of the worker-exporting countries should grow by about a third. It makes sense to work on the problem before it gets out of control.
People in the receiving countries seem to be worried about competition for their jobs. Most Thais said their government should admit(準(zhǔn)入) no more foreign workers, and a few thought otherwise.Even in Singapore, just over half of people are against admitting more foreign workers.Malaysians think that the increase in foreign workers has worsened crime rates(犯罪率).
【小題1】It can be inferred from the case of the Philippines that______.

A.the country is Asia’s main source of migrant workers
B.labour exports lead to a 10% growth of its GDP
C.the outflow of labour helps solve its social problems
D.the country both exports and imports labour force
【小題2】The flow of labour is a growing problem because______.
A.there is a greater flow of labour than reported
B.more Indonesians work abroad without papers
C.some countries suffer from low birth rates
D.the ASEAN is against admitting foreign workers
【小題3】For the labour-importing countries, the flow of labour may lead to______.
A.higher birth rates
B.lower crime rates
C.greater money inflows
D.stronger job competition
【小題4】The writer of the text seems to______.
A.support the flow of labour between countries
B.report fairly on the question of labour flow
C.express his worries over the ASEAN’s decision
D.regard the outflow of labour as a serious problem
