Long ago, an Ojibway Indian naming Wenibojo went on a long tripto the forest. When he got hunger, he dug up the roots of a bush and ate them. The roots were tasted good, but they made him sick. Wenibojo looked foreverything better to eat. Suddenly he heard the sounds of ducks nearby. Hefollowed the sounds from a beautiful lake, which the ducks were eating plants.Wenibojo tasted one. To his surprise, it was wild rice! He returned his villageto tell the people there about the special food. Nowadays, the Ojibways stillharvests rice, but only as many as they need. They always left some rice on thefarm so that the ducks can eat.

【答案】naming—named;hunger—hungry;were tasted good 去掉were;everything—something;from—to;which—where;returned 后加to;harvests—harvest;many—much;left—leave
③were tasted good 去掉were 考查語(yǔ)態(tài)。
⑤from—to 考查介詞搭配。
⑥which—where 考查定語(yǔ)從句。
⑨many—much 考查形容詞。

On Friday, our teacher told us that there would an English corner in front of our teaching building. I set about soon after the last class in the afternoon. To my joy, the English corner had just been on for a few minute. I joined them on their talk. At first, I was afraid that my English was so poor and limit that I couldn't make myself understand. I was also afraid that anyone might laugh at me. But a smiling face here or an encouraging nod there soon put me at ease. Though I speak to them only in simple English that day, I believe in future I will make a greater progress.
