【題目】It’s considered to be the most important meal of the day, but do you really take the time to put together a healthy meal first thing in the morning? If you’re watching your weight, skipping breakfast will damage your efforts to lose weight. 1 It can also speed up your metabolism (新陳代謝).

Making breakfast a habit may not be easy. Use these tips to make eating breakfast a habit:

Get up earlier.2 Get up ten to fifteen minutes before your regular wake-up time that you have enough time to prepare a tasty meal before your day begins. Try to make time to include breakfast in your daily schedule and stick to it so it becomes a habit.

Plan your meals ahead of time.3 Put together three or four different breakfast recipes that you know you will actually eat. A little planning can help you make eating breakfast a habit as soon as possible.

Be selective. Buy a handful of ingredients to put together a healthy breakfast yourself, instead of relying on prepared breakfast food and snacks.4 If you don’t like “traditional” breakfast foods, eat what you like so that you’re willing to stick with it to make eating breakfast a habit.

5 If you’re working out in the morning, plan to eat breakfast within an hour after your workout so your body can recover. Again, planning ahead will make eating this meal a part of your daily routine.

A. The fresher the food, the better.

B. Breakfast is the first meal of the day.

C. Eat breakfast around your workout schedule.

D. Developing the habit of eating breakfast is important.

E. Eating breakfast can reduce your hunger later in the day.

【題目】Denmark is one of the happiest nations on earth with some of the best quality of life. You don’t need statistics to understand the Dane’s happy lot. Walk around any Danish town and you’ll experience some of the most harmonious civic spaces anywhere. Their intimate scales and perfect transport systems combine the rich history and bold modern lines of the built environment to delight the eye, and the locals’ manners and sense of humor is refreshing.

Denmark’s capital Copenhagen is a remarkable city with wellpreserved medieval streets, renowned art galleries, Michelinstarred restaurants and a healthy business center. Finding something to do is never a problem and if all else fails, just admiring the streets with a hotdog in hand is an enjoyable way to spend a few hours.

Beyond the capital and the bigger cities, Denmark offers a mix of lively towns such as Ribe and Odense plus rural countryside, medieval churches, Renaissance castles and tidy 18thcentury villages.

The coastline of Denmark with its sand dunes and greenery is a sight that always attracts visitors. So, no matter what time of year you’re in Denmark, you shouldn’t miss out on a trip to the nearest beach.

It’s hard, in short, to find fault with the place. The visitor’s most heartfelt complaint is usually the cost of visiting Denmark. True, it is not a cheap destination, but no more so than the UK, and which nation’s public transport system would you rather use?Cheer yourself up by thinking of the country’s remarkable organization and clockwork railway timetable as being financed by the extremely high taxes paid by your hosts. When viewed in this way, this firstrate destination seems like good value, and you get the fairy tales thrown in for free: the Danish royal family is genuinely loved and respected by the vast majority of its citizens, not least handsome Prince Frederik, his beautiful Australianborn princessbride, Mar, and their young family.

1Which of the following words can best describe Danes?

A. Polite and humorous.

B. Happy and romantic.

A. visiting the UK will cost less than travelling in Denmark

B. the transport system in the UK can’t equal that in Denmark

Do you want to worry less? Of course you do, right? That's like me asking if I could send you free bacon. Worry is like black mold — it appears in damp conditions and spreads uncontrollably. And often times we don't realize it's there until it's killing us. We must get rid of worry before it destroys us. But how?
Do What You Need to Do.
You ought not to avoid tough projects or hard conversions until the last moment. If you don't do what you should be doing, you will end up spending the rest of the time worrying about the must-do things. Believe it or not, the anxiety that comes from worrying is much worse than the task we're worried about.
Get Intentional.
I think many of us act like we're puppets in a play and we're waiting for something or someone to put us in the right place. You just react to whatever is going on. We need to stop letting life just happen. We need to live on purpose.

You can't have intentionality without making plans. Making plans will enable you to achieve your aims more smoothly. Yet, don't place your plans in stone. You can adjust your plans flexibly. Accept changes. Make new plans.
There are other ways to lessen worry. As long as you are determined to take action, you will live a worry-free life.
A. Worry ruins creativity.
B. Make Plans
C. Do what you should be doing.
D. Here are some effective ways to deal with it.
E. Then move forward.
F. You do the same as people around you do.
G. Nothing can cause worry like purposelessness.

【題目】With the development of our society, cell phones have become a common part in our lives. Have you ever run into a careless cell phone user on the street? Maybe they were busy talking, texting or checking updates on We Chat without looking at what was going on around them. As the number of this new “species” of human has kept rising, they have been given a new name-phubbers (低頭族).

Recently a cartoon created by students from China Central Academy of Fine Arts put this group of people under the spotlight. In the short film, phubbers with various social identities (身份) bury themselves in their phones. A doctor plays with his cell phone while letting his patient die, a pretty woman takes a selfie (自拍) in front of a car accident site, and a father loses his child without knowing about it while using his mobile phone. A chain of similar events finally leads to the destruction of the world.

Although the ending of the film sounds unrealistic, the damage phubbing can bring is real. Your health is the first to bear the effect and result of it. “Always bending your head to check your cell phone could damage your neck,” Guangming Daily quoted doctors’ words. “The neck is like a rope that breaks after long-term stretching.” Also, staring at cell phones for a long time will damage your eyesight gradually, according to the report.

But that’s not all. Being a phubber could also damage your social skills and drive you away from your friends and family. When getting together with family or friends, many people prefer to play their cell phones while others are chatting happily with each other and this creates a strange atmosphere, Qilu Evening News reported.

It can also cost your life. There have been lots of reports on phubbers who fell to their death, suffered accidents, and were robbed of their cell phones in broad daylight.

1Why does the author give the example of a cartoon in Paragraph 2?

A. To suggest phubbers will destroy the world

B. To call for people to go walking without phones

C. To tell people of the bad effects of phubbing

D. To advise students to create more cartoons like this

2According to the passage, what risks may a phubber have?

Destructing the world

Affecting his social skills

Damaging his neck and eyesight

Getting separated from his friends and family

A. ①②④ B. ②③④

C. ①③④ D. ①②③④

3What’s the author’s attitude towards phubbing?

A. Supportive B. Confident

C. Disapproving D. Optimistic

4What will be talked about in the following paragraph?

A. Ways to avoid the risks of phubbing B. Bad effects of pudding

C. Daily life of phubbers D. Methods of phubbing
