Have you heard of World Book Day? It is a celebration of authors, illustrators（插畫家）, books and, most【1】（important）, it's a celebration of reading. To welcome the coming New Year, our class hold a party last night. Before the party, we decorated the classroom with colorful balloons and flower. Our teachers also came to the party. We sang and danced happy at the party but we enjoyed ourselves so much. All the teachers present gave performances. Our teacher of English sang English song. Guess what! He surprised at us. I had never known that he could sing so well. We applauded loudly after he finished sing the song. We were too excited that we could not fall asleep at night. As a result, all of us is sleepy today. As Caroline Elbaor reports for artnet News, Aider les Autres is offering tickets for Nature Morte, a 1921 Picasso painting describing a newspaper and a glass of absinthe(苦艾酒). The painting, which is on display at the Picasso Museum in Paris, has been valued at SI. I million. But one lucky winner will be able to obtain the painting for a mere small amount of that price.

By selling the Picasso painting at an extremely discounted rate, Aider les Autres hopes to raise a lot of money for Care International. Some of the money will be used to buy the painting and cover other costs, but the majority will be donated to the charity.

Having easy access to clean water not only reduces the risk of water borne diseases, but also reduces the time that people and particularly women and girls have to spend walking to clean water sources.

“Besides the huge waste of time, women and girls are at risk as they walk alone along remote paths and tracks,” Aider les Autres explains. “Girls are also more likely to miss school because of lack of hygiene (衛(wèi)生). By providing clean water, we will increase girls' attendance by many thousands.”

Visitors to Joshua Tree can enjoy the beautiful desert ecosystem. At Joshua Tree you can look into the dense star clouds of the Milky Way, and see clearly. These star clouds are especially dense and bright to the south near the horizon.
