閱讀下面短文,并按照題目要求用英語回答問題。
India has millions of cycle rickshaws(人力車)which have a two-wheeled carriage. The operators are called pullers. They ride through the streets pulling passengers and goods.Unlike buses and cars, which burn fuel, cycle rickshaws produce no pollution. But the job of a rickshaw puller is not easy.
Now,to help ease their labor, there is the Solar-Electric Rickshaw or soleckshaw. An electric motor helps the operator pull heavy goods or go up a hill.A thirty-six volt(伏特) battery can carry the rickshaw forty kilometers.Top speed is fifteen kilometers an hour, and soleckshaws don’t pollute the environment. There is also a battery charging station at Delhi Metro Rail Station.
The goal with the new rickshaw is to increase the number of trips per day that the pullers can make, which means more money to earn. There is also space for advertising,a way for them to earn additional money.
At present the Solar-Electric Rickshaw is rather expensive. But the designers say that rickshaw pullers could repay the money borrowed from the bank to buy a soleckshaw within about two or three years. Now India’s seven to eight million pullers usually pay one-third of their earnings to the owner of a rickshaw to use it by the day.But in 2008 the Center of Rural Development had the idea for a bank to help self-employed workers buy their own rickshaws.
Besides, there are plans for improved types of soleckshaws, which will have more powerful engines and can travel long distances. The new types are expected to be used when New Delhi hosts the Commonwealth Games next year.
Soleckshaws are a great step forward. However, some people say a lot of excitement is lost when rickshaws are going faster than ever. What’s more, soleckshaws create additional costs such as electric charging, batteries and solar panels(太陽能電池板).There is really a long way before they become universal around the country.
1. What does the passage mainly tell us? (No more than 10 words)
2. How can pullers afford to buy the soleckshaw? (No more than 10 words)
3. What are the disadvantages of soleckshaws? (No more than 15 words)
4. The underlined word“universal”in the last paragraph probably means______.(No more than 5 words)
5.What do you think of soleckshaws? Please give your reasons. (No more than 20 words)

As in the field of space travel, so in the undersea exploration (探險(xiǎn)), new technologies continue to appear. They____________________with each other—as well as some important differences.
Manned submersibles (潛水器), like spaceships, must maintain living conditions in an unnatural environment. But while a spaceship must simply be sealed(密封)against the vacuum (真空) of space, a submersible must be able to bear extreme pressure if it is not to break up in deep water.
In exploring space, unmanned vehicles were employed before astronauts, in the undersea exploration, on the other hand, men paved the way, and only recently have unmanned Remote Operated Vehicles (ROVs) been put to use.
One reason for this is that communicating with vehicles in orbit is much easier than talking to those underwater. A vacuum is an ideal medium for radio communications, but underwater, communications are limited to much slower sound waves. Thus, most undersea vehicles, particularly ROVs, operate at the end of long ropes.
For a similar reason, knowing where you are undersea is much more difficult than in space. A spaceship’s position can be located by following its radio signal, or by using telescopes and radars. For an undersea vehicle, however, a special network of sonar(聲納) devices must be laid out in advance on the ocean floor in the area of a dive to locate the vehicle’s position.
Though undersea exploration is more challenging than outer space in a number of respects, it has a distinct advantage: Going to the ocean depths doesn’t require the power necessary to escape Earth’s gravity. Thus it remains far less expensive.

A Chinese rocket carrying a probe(探測器)destined(預(yù)定) for the moon has been sent into space.
A Long March 3C rocket with the Chang’e -2 probe took off from Xichang launch centre at about 11: 00 GMT.
The rocket will shoot the craft into the trans-lunar orbit(繞月軌道), after which the satellite is expected to reach the moon in about five days. Chang’e -2 will be used to test key technologies and collect data for future landings. China says it will send a rover(漫游者) on its next mission, and it also has ambitions to put humans on the surface of the lunar body at some future date. The Xinhua News Agency said Chang’e -2 would circle just 15 km (nine miles) above the rocky terrain(地帶)in order to take photographs of possible landing locations.
It is China’s second lunar probe—the first was launched in 2007. The craft stayed in space for 16 months before being intentionally crashed onto the moon’s surface. China launched its first manned flight into low-earth orbit in 2003; and two more followed, with the most recent one in 2008. So far, only three countries have managed to independently send humans into space: China, Russia and the US.
In 2008, a Chinese astronaut, fighter pilot Zhai Zhigang, performed a spacewalk—the first in China’s history. He stayed outside the Shenzhou-7 capsule for 15 minutes; the exercise was seen as the key to China’s ambition to build an orbiting station in the near future.
71. What’s Chang’e -2’s main task according to this passage?
A. Landing on the moon just as the first lunar probe.
B. Comparing with the first lunar probe.
C. Competing with Russia’s and the US’s space crafts.
D. Testing technologies and collecting data for future landings.
72. Which of the following about Chang’e -2 is TRUE?
A. Its travel to the moon lasts about five days.

What do you know about the sea? We know that it looks very pretty when the sun is shining on it. We also know that it can be very rough when there is a strong wind. What other things do we know about it?
The first thing to remember is that the sea is very big. When you look at the map of the world you will find there is more water than land. The sea covers three quarters of the world.
The sea is also very deep in some places. It is not deep everywhere. Some parts of the sea are very shallow. But in some places the depth of the sea is very great. There is one spot, near Japan, where the sea is nearly 11 kilometers deep! The highest mountain in the world is about 9 kilometers high. If that mountain were put into the sea at that place, there would be 2 kilometers of water above it! What a deep place!
If you have swum in the sea, you know that it is salty. You can taste the salt. Rivers, which flow into the sea, carry salt from the land into the sea. Some parts of the sea are saltier than other parts. There is one sea, called the Dead Sea, which is very salty. It is so salty that swimmers cannot sink! Fish cannot live in the Dead Sea!
In most parts of the sea, there are plenty of fish and plants. Some live near the top of the sea. Others live deep down. There are also millions of tiny living things that float in the sea. These floating things are so small that it is hard to see them. Many fish live by eating these floating things.
The sea can be very cold. Divers who go deep down in the sea know this. On the top the water may be warm. When the diver goes downwards, the sea becomes colder and colder. Another thing happens. When the diver goes deeper, the water above presses down on him. It squeezes him. Then the diver has to wear clothes made of metal. But he cannot go very deep. Some people who wanted to go very deep used a very strong diving ship! They went down to the deepest part of the sea in it. They went down to a depth of eleven kilometers!
66. When does the sea look beautiful?
A. When it is calm.
B. When the weather is fine.
C. When there is a strong wind.
D. When there is a storm.
67. How much of the earth’s surface does land cover?
A. 15% B. 25% C. 30% D. 45%
68. Why does the author mention the sea somewhere near Japan?
A. To show that the sea in some places is very deep.
B. To show that the sea in some places is very shallow.
C. To show that its depth is 9 kilometers greater than the height of the highest mountain.
D. To show that its depth is 11 kilometers greater than the height of the highest mountain.
69. Which of the following statements about the Dead Sea is NOT true?
A. There are plenty of fish in it.
B. It is a safe place for swimmers.
C. It is extremely salty.
D. No fish can be found in it.
70. Why can’t people go very deep in the sea?
A. Because the deepest part of the sea is very cold.
B. Because the deepest part of the sea is very rough.
C. Because the pressure of the water at great depths is unendurable.
D. Because fierce fish usually live there.
