A saint (圣人) found a group of family members shouting angrily at each other on a river bank. He asked his disciples(信徒), “  1  do people shout when they are angry with each other?” The disciples 2  for a while and one of them said, “Because they lose their calm.”

“But why should they shout when the other persons are just 3  them? They can tell them what they have to say in a  4  manner.” Asked the saint.

The disciples gave some other answers but  5 made the saint pleased. Finally the saint  6  , “When two people are angry with each other, their hearts distance a lot. In the morning，Johnson set off from his home in California．It was the start of his vacation，and he was going to visit friends at Las Vegas．Then he hoped to go fishing in Lake Mead，40 kms from Las Vegas．

Johnson's troubles started while he was driving happily across the Mojave Desert．His car broke down and he tried to repair it．But be failed．He telephoned a workshop to ask it to send a tow truck（拖車(chē)）to pull the car away and repair it．

    Johnson looked like a man wanted（被通緝） in California for robbery（搶劫），so the police kept him at San Pedro for the night．The next day，Johnson’s friends came from California．They proved（證明） that Johnson was a harmless salesman，so they let him go．
