統(tǒng)計是在初中數(shù)學統(tǒng)計初步的深化和擴展，本講的主要內容是隨機抽樣的方法在總體中抽取樣本。

預測2007年高考對本講的考察是：

(1)以基本題(中、低檔題為主)，多以選擇題、填空題的形式出現(xiàn)，以實際問題為背景，綜合考察學生學習基礎的知識、應用基礎知識、解決實際問題的能力；

(2)熱點是隨機抽樣方法中的分層抽樣、系統(tǒng)抽樣方法。
