一天晚上，天上有許多星星和月亮在吵架，它們在爭誰最亮。月亮理直氣壯地對星星說：“就你們這些小不點，還敢跟我比亮，沒門�！薄皠e以為你比我們大，你就比我們亮！你的光還是從太陽的光中借出來的呢�！毙切遣环䴕獾卣f。月亮大聲地說：“你們這么小，怎么敢跟我相提并論。”

于是星星叫來小伙伴變成一個大球后，果然比月亮更亮，這可把月亮的臉都給氣紅了，但月亮依然保持著不認輸?shù)谋砬�。星星們說道：“是我們最亮吧”，月亮生氣地說：“你們是湊在一起的，所以這樣不算，應該還是我最亮�！�

它們就這樣吵著吵著，一直吵到了天亮。太陽出來了，它比誰都要亮。星星和月亮見了，自愧不如地跑了。特別是月亮，臉都給羞紅了，由于晚上的光線昏暗，所以現(xiàn)在有時候看到的月亮就是黃色的了。每當這時，他都在反思自己的驕傲。

從此以后，月亮和星星再也不吵架了，天空又恢復了往日的安寧和平靜。
