“Life without books, as if there is no sunlight; wisdom without books, just like a bird without wings,” said Shakespeare.

When I was a child, my parents often read to me. Thanks to them, I became interested in reading. And now I like reading in the libraries in my spare time. Through reading, I learn so many history stories that I can get good grades in my history exams. My teacher even allows me to tell stories to my classmates in class. And then, I become more and more popular with my classmates. When I see the admiration on their faces, I have a strong sense of satisfaction. It’s reading that makes me better.

Reading is a lifelong journey. I will read more and more books to open my eyes. Come on, join me!
