Every single human being on this planet has a path and purpose to fulfill, whether they realize it or not. 1.
List what you love and connect the dots. 2. It may not make sense at first, but all of the things you enjoy doing are part of your path in one form or another, so grab a pen and a piece of paper and start writing. Once you have your list, take a step back and see how all these brilliant pieces might connect to the work you are meant to do.
Identify what you do with ease. Often our passion and purpose are staring us right in the face, but it’s so natural to us that we don’t think anything about it. 3. Just because they are easy for you doesn’t mean that’s the case for everyone else. By identifying what comes naturally to you, you have the ability to build on your strengths and help others in ways you never thought possible.
4. Finding your passion is directly related to doing the things that light you up and set your soul on fire. If you love to teach, run, and host live events, then please, do them all! Who says your life purpose has to be just one thing? You are meant to experience life and all that it has offered.
Ask others to help. If you are still feeling stuck in finding your passion and purpose in life, it might be time to ask others for help. It can be difficult for you to see where you truly shine because you are simply too close to connecting the dots on your own. Friends, family members and professionals have a view that you don’t. 5.
A. Do what makes you happy.
B. Find what you do with ease.
C. Don’t overlook the things that are easy for you.
D. They can help you to see things within yourself.
E. You cannot count on others to help you completely.
F. Here are ways to find your passion and purpose from now on.
G. Identifying the things you love is the best way to find your passion and purpose.

Children in the United States eat too much pizza that some researchers now argue the food should join the ranks of sugary drinks and fast food for the harm they do to health.
In a new study, the researchers found that pizza is a large source of calories, saturated fat(飽和脂肪)and salt in children’s diets.Children should not eat more than two slices of pizza for a meal, and should pair that with salad, rather than with another high-calorie food, the researchers concluded.
“Parents should aim to control pizza consumption(消費(fèi)), particularly as a snack where it was shown to have a very adverse impact on children, and they should put their pizza dollars toward healthier brands.”Said Lisa Powel, director of the Illinois Prevention Research Center.
Pizza has become a matter of focus in recent years for researchers who look at the meals children eat, rather than the nutrients within them.Studies have found pizza is among the greatest sources of calories for children.
“Since pizza remains a common part of children’s diet, we need to make ‘healthy’ pizza.”Powel said.To make pizza healthier, food producers should reduce its saturated fat and salt, and increase its whole grain content,” she said.
Whether or not pizza is harmful enough to be picked out as an unhealthy food, the study attracts attention to a larger issue with the modern American lifestyle, said Alexis Tindall, who was not involved in the flow research. “Many foods are eaten too frequently and in large sizes,” said Tindall. To solve the problem, people don’t have to give up eating pizza, but instead, they can eat smaller and healthier pizza,”she said.
“Make it at home, instead of ordering it out where you don’t have any control over how it’s made.” Tindall said. “When we make it at home, we can choose healthier ingredients, increase the vegetables, reduce fat, and put in less cheese.Pizza doesn’t have to be just pepperoni(意大利辣香腸)and cheese.”

C.in smaller sizes D.a(chǎn)t home

If you’re looking for a fairly painless way to lose weight, researchers at Brigham Young University have a new solution for you: Put yourself on a regular sleep schedule. People who keep a regular sleep routine have a lower body fat than those who keep irregular sleep hours, says a new study.
Led by Bruce Bailey, professor of exercise science, researchers followed 300 female college students aged 19 to 26, who were given activity trackers(跟蹤器)to watch their movements and activities, including waking and sleeping times . Researchers also measured their body composition (成分)before and after the one-week study period.
What the researchers found:
Body fat varied with sleep quantity. Women who slept between 8 and 8.5 hours a night had the lowest body fat. While those who slept less than 7 hours or over 9 hours had higher body fat.
High quality sleep was associated with lower body fat while poor sleep was connected with higher body fat.
Waking and going to sleep at the same time every day was most strongly linked with lower body fat.
The difference in body weight was greater with more variation(變化)in sleep pattern. Women whose sleep patterns varied by 90 minutes a night had higher body fat than those whose sleep patterns varied by 60 minutes or less on average.
The study followed up on a body of research conducted over the last few years that ties quality and quantity of sleep to weight loss and better weight control. While researchers don’t know exactly how sleep schedules affect body weight and fat, other studies have shown that sleep has an effect on physical activity, appetite(胃口), and the hormones(荷爾蒙)that control metabolism(新陳代謝), and the signals that tell us we’re full.
1.Which of the following about the study led by Bruce Bailey is true?
A. The participants included both females and males.
B. The participants’ activities were monitored through trackers.
C. The participants’ body composition were measured only after the study.
D. The study was controlled by researchers during a long period time.
2.Who may have the lowest body fat according to the study?
A. Women whose sleep patterns varied by 90 times a night.
B. Women whose sleep patterns varied by 60 times a night.
C. Women who sleep no more than 7 hours a night.
D. Women who get 8 to 8.5 hours of sleep a night.
3.It can be inferred from the last paragraph that ______.
A. It’s the first research to study better weight control.
B. Many people know exactly how sleep affects body fat.
C. Sleep can affect people at least in three ways.
D. Sleep can give signals to tell people they are full.
4.What does the passage mainly talk about?
A. Several factors that affects the sleep quality.
B. Some ways to help you lose weight efficiently.
C. The importance of having a regular sleep routine.
D. A study on the relationship between sleep and body weight.

How Can I Fight Laziness?
Lazy people will never amount to anything in life. However, laziness can be defeated once a few changes have been made in your mind.
1.. Many people lack sleep constantly, since they stay up too late and get up too early to prepare for work. These people have little motivation once they arrive home. Laziness works hand in hand with a lack of motivation and a tendency to put off things. By adjusting your sleep schedule to provide a few more hours of meaningful rest, you can fight laziness throughout the day.
Another way to fight laziness is to change your mind from passive to active. Some people treat their lives as if they were pushed from task to task. Others take a more proactive(主動(dòng)的) approach, viewing each task as a challenge they must overcome alone. 2.
Some people fight laziness by removing the temptations(誘惑) that surround them. A television in the living room may provide entertainment, but watching too much TV often contributes to laziness. 3.Complete a few tasks and reward yourself with what you enjoy, such as a good dinner or a film.
Laziness can also be a lasting problem at home. Couples and children may all have different energy levels, but laziness can be spread if not dealt with immediately. 4. Be the first to collect and wash dishes after a meal. Others in the home may eventually follow your example and perform their own task. It is difficult to practice laziness when you are surrounded by motivated people.
5. Enough exercise and a balanced diet can help you to develop a healthy lifestyle, thus enabling you to have more energy and help lift your spirits.
A.To fight family laziness, set an example.
B.One way to fight laziness is to get enough sleep.
C.Knowing how to fight laziness is important.
D.Finally, taking exercise regularly can help you fight laziness.
E. With strong determination, you will be able to achieve your goal.
F. Create a reward system for yourself, just as parents do for a child.
G. Laziness sets in when you no longer feel in charge of your own life.
