There have always been a lot of commonly believed but exercise. Some people believe that they can’t help putting on hold that if they stop exercising, their muscles will turn into fat. Here are some more myths:
false ideas about being fat and doing weight as they get older, while others
I‘ll never lose weight一I come from a fat family
Wrong! While we can’t change the body type we are bom with, we can’t blame our genes for making us fat. There’s plenty of evidence that fatness runs in families, and the main reason is that they
share the same habits of eating too much and exercising too little.
I am fat because I burn calories slowly
Wrong! Fatness is not caused by a slow metabolism(新陳代謝). In fact, although fat people consume more energy than slim people, they also fail to realize how much they eat! Keeping a diary can help you work out your daily food intake more accurately.
Exercise is boring
Wrong! Anything will become boring if you do it repetitively. The key is to develop a balanced and varied program thafs fun as well as progressive. If you enjoy a Sunday walk, take a different route. If you do yoga, try a tai chi class. If you like swimming, set yourself a distance or time challenge.
No pain, no gain
Wrong! Exercise is not meant to hurt. Indeed, pain is your body telling you something’s wrong, and continuing to exercise could lead to serious injury. You may experience mild discomfort as you begin to exercise regularly, but this is your body adapting to the positive changes in your lifestyle and the aches should disappear relatively quickly. If they don’t, rest and seek medical advice.

根據(jù)第二段最后一句the main reason is that they share the same habits of eating too much and exercising too little可知肥胖和遺傳無關(guān),和我們的飲食習(xí)慣以及鍛煉太少有關(guān)。
The key is to develop a balances and varied program that is fun as well as progressive。可知關(guān)鍵在于要有一個平衡的,多樣化的鍛煉的計劃。也就是說要有多種不同的鍛煉形式相互配合。故A正確。
3.根據(jù)文章最后一段1,2行pain is your body telling you something is wrong, and continuing to exercise could lead to serious injury。可知如果我們的身體感覺疼痛就說明有了問題我們就應(yīng)該停止鍛煉,否則就會受傷了。故B正確
4.根據(jù)文章第一句:There have always been a lot of commonly believed but false ideas about being fat and doing exercise可知本文是人們中一些關(guān)于肥胖和鍛煉的錯誤的觀點的說明。故B正確。

Without proper planning, tourism can cause problems. For example, too many tourists can crowd public places that are also enjoyed by the inhabitants of a country. If tourists create too much traffic, the inhabitants become annoyed and unhappy. They begin to dislike tourists and to treat them impolitely. They froget how much tourism can help the country's economy. It is important to think about the people of a destination (目的地) country and how tourism affects them. Tourism should help a country keep the customs and beauty that attract tourists. Tourism should also advance the well-being (health and happiness) of local inhabitants.
Too much tourism can be a problem. If tourism grows too quickly, people must leave other jobs to work in the tourism industry. This means that other parts of the country's economy can suffer.
On the other hand, if there is not enough tourism, people can lose jobs. Businesses can also lose money. It costs a great deal of money to build large hotels, airports, air terminals, first-class roads, and other support facilities (設(shè)施) needed by tourist attractions. For example, a major international-class tourism hotel can cost as much as 50 thousand dollars per room to build. If this room is not used most of the time, the owners of the hotel lose money.
Building a hotel is just a beginning. There must be support facilities as well, including roads to get to the hotel, electricity, sewers (陰溝) to handle waste, and water. All of these support facilities cost money. If they are not used because there are not enough tourists, jobs and money are lost.
1.Which of the following has most probably been discussed in the paragraph that goes before the passage?
A. It is extremely important to develop tourism.
B. Building roads and hotels is essential.
C. Support facilities are highly necessary.
D. Planning is of great importance to tourism.
2.Too much tourism can cause all these problems EXCEPT______.
A. a bad impact on other industries
B. a change of tourists' customs
C. overcrowdedness of places of interest
D. pressure on traffic
3.Not enough tourism can lead to _____
A. an increase of unemployment
B. a decrease in tourist attractions
C. the higher cost of support facilities
D. a rise in price and a fall in pay
4.It is good for local people to be well aware that tourism will______.
A. use up a large amount of water B. weaken their economy
C. help establish their traditions D. help improve their life
5.The word handle in the last paragraph most probably means______.
A. carry away B. pick up C. get in D. take down
