I moved to live with my grandparents at the age of ten. My parents which worked in another
city usually came to meet us a few time every month .it was a wonderfully feeling knowing that my parents were arriving. Every weekend ,I couldn't wait to seeing them. Usually my parents got home very late on the Friday nights or early Saturday mornings. Whenever we arrived, I was usually asleep then. My parents quickly fell asleep like kids after the long tired journey. My mother woke me up about 7 0'clock the next morning. Then we both went to the kitchen and make tea for the family. Then we sat together but shared our experiences of the week

Dear Brad,
I’m very glad to hear from you. In your last letter you ask about the post-80s in China. Actually I am the boy who belongs to this group. Comparing with our parents, life for us is getting much hard. The job market is tough and the house is expensively to afford. Now many girls prefer to marry with a man who owns a house and a car. Therefore, I don’t think love built on house and cars is true love, and I doubt how long it will last.
As a matter of fact, though situations are tough today, a lot of we post-80s are making great efforts to live a good life. I believe we will have a nice future.
Li Hua

People in the western state of California who are in the United States illegally can now request a driver's license. The law went into effect on January l. California is not the first American state with such a law, but it has the largest number of illegal immigrants. More than a million people began to request licenses shortly after the new state law went into effect. Among them was Christian Alvarado. Mr. Alvarado entered the United States from El Salvador eight years ago without permission from the U.S. government. Some call such people "illegal immigrants." Others call them "undocumented immigrants "
Mr. Alvarado thinks is so exciting, for be has been waiting for the license for a long time. But some are worried that their personal information will be used to find them and deport them. Armando Botello is a spokesman for the California Department of Motor Vehicles, or DMV. He says people should not be afraid, for such information will not be shared.
The new licenses are the same as licenses given to citizens except that they have the words "Federal Limits Apply". Ana Garcia, working at the Central American Resource Center, says some illegal immigrants fear those words will be used to abuse them. Civil rights groups say the police and others
Dan Schnur , a political scientist at the University of Southern California, said that the main argument against the new law is that it rewards illegal behavior. But Professor Schnur argued that young, white Americans generally support immigration reform, including giving driver's licenses to illegal immigrants

We all know the importance of curiosity, and here are some tips on how to develop it.
Keep an open mind. This is essential if you are to have a curious mind. Be open to learning, unlearning, and relearning things. 1. Therefore, you should be prepared to accept this possibility and change your mind.
2. Most people just accept the world as it is. This way, they will certainly lose the “holy curiosity”. Try to dig deeper beneath the surface of what is around you. A sure way to dig deeper beneath the surface is asking questions. What, why, when, who, where, and how are the questions curious people always ask.
Don’t label anything as boring. Whenever you label something as boring, you close one more door of possibilities. Curious people are unlikely to consider things boring. 3. Even if they don’t yet have time to explore them, they will leave the door open to be visited another time.
Take learning as something fun. If you see learning as a burden, there’s no way you will want to dig deeper into anything. That will just make the burden heavier. However, if you think of learning as something fun, you will naturally want to dig deeper. 4.
Read diverse materials. It will introduce you to the possibilities and excitement of other worlds which may attract your interest in exploring further. One easy way to do this is through reading diverse materials. 5. It’ll feed your mind with the excitement of a new world.
A. It doesn’t matter that you don’t agree to others’ opinions.
B. Try to pick a book or magazine on a new subject.
C. Some things you know and believe might be wrong.
D. Don’t spend too much time on just one world.
E. Never take things as granted.
F. So look at life through the glasses of fun and enjoy the learning process.
G. Instead, they always see these things as a door to an exciting new world.
