Halloween is an autumn holiday and comes every October 31 ,the evening before All Saints’ Day. It means “holy (神圣的) evening”.

Every autumn,children pick large orange pumpkins. Then they make a pumpkin lantern. It is called.(被稱為) “Jack-o,-lantem”.

The children also put on strange masks and frightening costumes every Halloween.

Then they carry boxes or bags house to house,and say ,“Trick or treat!” The grown-ups (成人) put candies in their bags. Children and most grown-ups all love Halloween and Halloween parties.
