2.Recently,university students around the world were asked to volunteer in a global experiment called Unplugged. It was designed to see how young people would react if they were asked to observe a total media ban by unplugging all forms of media devices for 24 hours.
Unplugged is being run by Dr.Roman Gerodimos,a lecturer in Communication and Journalism at Bournemouth University.During the experiment,Dr.Gerodimos said there were already signs of how much the exercise affected volunteers. He said:"They're reporting withdrawal symptoms, overeating, feeling nervous, isolated and disconnected."
During their 24-hour test, three of the experiment's participants were followed around by a BBC reporter plus cameraman. They were asked to write down 100 lines about their day offline, but of course, they all waited until the next day when they had access to their laptops.
Elliot Day wrote:"Today,my whole morning routine was thrown up into the air.Despite being aware of the social importance of the media,I was surprised by how empty my life felt without the radio or newspapers."
From Caroline Scott,we read:"I didn't expect it,but being deprived of the media for 24 hours resulted in my day-to-day activities becoming so much harder to carry out than usual…I didn't break out in a cold sweat like our lecturer expected us all to,but It's not something I would like to do again!"
And Charlotte Gay wrote:"I have to say the most difficult item for me to be without has been  my mobile;not only is it a social device,it's my main access point of communication."
Earlier in the year,a UK government study found that in the UK we spend about half our waking hours using the media, often plugged into several things at once. So,with technology continuing to develop at an alarming rate, how much time will you set aside for sleep in the future?

It was designed to see how young people would react if they wereasked to observe a total media ban by unplugging all forms of media devices for24 hours.
They're reporting withdrawal symptoms,overeating,feeling nervous,isolated and disconnected."
From Caroline Scott,we read:"I didn't expect it,but being deprived of the media for 24 hours resulted in myday-to-day activities becoming so much harder to carry out than usual…I didn'tbreak out in a cold sweat like our lecturer expected us all to,but It's not something I would liketo do again!"
根據(jù)So,with technology continuing todevelop at an alarming rate, how much time will you set aside for sleep in the future? 故選A.

13.Every afternoon hundreds of thousands of youth fill Internet cafes,switch on a game console (游戲機(jī)),or otherwise sit down to enter fantasy worlds.I'm talking about video games.These games can be fun and exciting,but we need to look out when this pastime becomes an addiction.
Games are often quite exciting and dramatic,but they generally aren't very intellectual.We don't learn as much from them as we would only reading a book.Spending too much time playing them can take away our study time.We need to remember that we are students first.Nothing should ever get in the way of proper studying.
Video games can also be a bad effect on younger children who may be watching.Many video games are violent and the object in most of them is to kill the other player(s).This does not send the right message to the children who need to be told that violence is not acceptable and need to be taught how to deal with situations maturely.Even if we do need to sit down and play a violent video game,we need to make sure that it does not affect the younger people around us.
Playing a computer game in our spare time is not a bad thing.Games can be a great way to relax after studying,to connect to our friends,or just to help our creativity.However,games should not become the focus of our life.We need to make sure that playing games never interferes with our studies and that we aren't thinking about them all day.If we ever find ourselves playing them too much,we need to break the addiction.If that happens,we need to step away from the computer or television screen and learn to spend our time more productively.

60.The writer mainly tells the readersB.
A.to play computer games every afternoon

61.The writer thinks about computer games all of the following exceptC.

C.computer games are often violent
D.children don't have enough money to play computer games

10.The words"timetable"and"schedule"make most final year students want to eat their own vomit(嘔吐物).Unfortunately,the harsh reality is that final year students must develop a timetable.If you don't have a schedule or plan for studying,you will have no way of allocating your valuable time when the unexpected arises.A well-thought-out timetable can be a lifesaver.It is up to you to learn how to develop a schedule that meets your needs.Change it if necessary,but most important,follow it.All timetables should be made with the idea that they can be changed.A good one will keep you from wandering off course.
A good timetable should make every hour count-every class,social event and other activity you engage in.You must focus on the other"free time"available and how you will use it.Make a weekly schedule and divided each day into one-hour increments.Indicate times for classes,socializing,and work time.Also block off a period for sleeping every day.In the precious hours left over,plan time for study.This gives you a rough road map of the time available.Of course,you can change your schedule as circumstances need.
The timetable you develop should guide you in how to distribute the available time in the most productive manner.Sticking to your schedule can be tough,but don't dribble away valuable time.Avoiding study is the easiest thing in the world.It is up to you to follow the schedule you've prepared.A good deal of your success in high school and with any future study depends on this simple truth.
Remember,there is a learning curve.You learn the most in the first 30minutes of study; after that,it progressively deteriorates(減弱).After four or five hours of studying the same material in the same way,you are learning virtually nothing.The solution is to keep switching subjects and study styles.

Bitterness appears when we can't forgive (原諒) someone who has hurt us or made us angry.Someone might say or do something that hurts us.But instead of controlling the anger,we keep it deep inside.Before long,a bitter feeling begins to grow.We may think we're hurting that person by criticizing (指責(zé)) him or her often,but we're really only hurting ourselves.
Bitterness can not only lead to serious health problems such as heart disease,but also hurt our relationships with friends and family members.No one enjoys being around an angry person for very long.
If you see bitterness in your life, here are some ways to deal with it.
Accept it
Instead of trying to deny your anger,make it clear to yourself and accept it.See your anger for what it is and quickly deal with it.
Stop making excuses for it
You may feel you have a right to be angry.You may think you're right and the other person is wrong.You may even secretly enjoy making the other person look bad.But in the end,bitterness hurts you much more than the other person.The bitterness will hold you back,and the other person will go on with his or her life.
Forgive and forget it
You probably can't completely put the anger out of your mind.But you can decide to forgive the other person.Forget it and move on.You'll enjoy better health and peace of mind.

36.According to the passage,we might get angry when someoneD.
